This makes sense. They hold off on their major title for 2014 when the 720 and ps4 is likely to come out. While this title want stop people from getting the 720 and ps4, it will be a compelling reason to stay with Nintendo WiiU.

That is true, but I can assure you that the majority of "investors" don't get this point. For them investing in the Ouya was a guarantee that they would be getting this console. I knew better and chose not throw my money in the garbage on an empty promise.

Typically no other developers are going to be releasing a new IP at the end of a console life cycle, so gamers are starved for new games to play. By introducing a new IP at that point in time it's guaranteed to get a lot of attention even if it doesn't sell incredibly well.

Sleeping Dogs is totally a big mistake. Oh wait, it's actually one of the best games currently out and it's a new IP. Stupid statements like that is why EA bosses need to shut up.
I want to be excited for this game because I did like Heavy Rain a lot, but for me David Cage's personality and recent comments just get in the way. I can't help but think, "oh this is the game by that pompous ass" when I read about this game now because of his comments. I really wish these developers would learn to shut up.
The more people that get hands on time with the WiiU, the better. We need to get less rumors and more information about the WiiU based on people who have actually used the system. Right now there is too much speculation going on about the WiiU and it's capabilities.

Actually they won't make the same mistakes next time. They will be much more clever and sneaky about milking consumers for every penny that they have. There only real mistake this generation was being so bold, open, and arrogant about their business practices. I enjoyed FF13 and FF13-2, but I completely recognize how much less those games are compared to the other FF games. I hate FF12, because of Vaan, but even that game just had more content from the start to end than either of the FF13 games. Hate to say this but Nintendo kind of screws Europe over on prices in general so even if this was true for them, it wouldn't be true for anywhere else. Also, I highly doubt Nintendo will take this route after the less than stellar sells of the 3DS.
I would rather them delay or set a later release date and deliver a quality game upfront than for them to be scrambling like Blizzard was doing releasing a series of content patches for end game because after 8 years of designing a game they didn't take a few extra months to make sure everything was just right.

I played the trilogy too, but I think I will rent this at least. Just because it would be a good comparison to see how a game I am familiar with works on the WiiU. Whether I will buy it depends on if they are trying to charge full price and knowing EA they will.
