That CoD crowd is over 10 million strong. No developer in their right mind doesn't attempt to get a piece of that pie. And if there is no MP it becomes really easy to just rent the game and call it a day. Like it or not, MP is an essential component in selling a game new.

No need to apologize, sometimes we all need to rant some. I can state how things are but I don't like the way the video game industry is going and like you I find myself moving more and more towards PC gaming. I try to accept games for how they are, but I too have given up on a lot of franchises.
The problem is that Capcom believed that the RE games could do a lot better sales wise than what they currently where doing if they moved away from the survival horror stuff. People are so quick to talk about RE4, but how insulting is that to Capcom to hear people go on and on about RE4 when RE5 was released and did a lot better sales than RE4 did. The truth is that when CoD sold 9 million copies in 2 weeks that changed everything in the game industry.

Not at all, but their is a difference between expressing your opinion and crying without reason. Also, if you don't like a game then don't buy it. It isn't hard to do a little research and make an informed decision as to whether or not you want to buy a game. It's a fun action game and it definitely progresses the RE storyline. I understand people being disappointed that this isn't a survival horror game but too cry like this is just disgusting. I just finished 2 of 4 campaigns a I really like the game. It's a well made game overall and Agent Hunt mode really surprised me at how much fun it is to invade in the RE games.
It's fine to want the game to return to the survival horror origins, but it's not okay to pretend like RE6 is the worse game ever because it's an action game and not a survival horror game.
