We can thank Facebook for the rise of Social Gaming, Farmville anyone. We can also thank the fact that multiplayer games tend to sell better than single player. It's a lot easier to justify that online pass if there is a multiplayer element.

Having mp also means that EA can sell us crappy old maps and pretend like they did something original. Sadly, this is just the way of the future and it's not just EA engaging in these actions. Just look at Bethesda, Activision, a...

So long as they don't try and charge close to $400 for this console, they will be fine. The reality is that people will buy the WiiU just cause it's a new console and they want to play HD Nintendo games. If they go crazy with the price than this console will die before it ever has a chance to peak because the 720 and ps4 is coming out sooner than later. The WiiU absolutely needs to be at an impulse buy price point.

Don't trust reviews. Either play it for yourself or watch someone play it on one of the various game streaming sites.

Looks amazing, I hope it sells well.

You know what, I am willing to give Obsidian one more chance. I made the mistake of playing Fallout New Vegas on ps3, which meant it crashed every 2 fucking hours on me. But I still like Alpha Protocol, in spite of it feeling unfinished and I enjoyed Star Wars: KOTOR 2, in spite of that game being unfinished. I still feel like if Obsidian takes their time then they can release an amazing game that is very polished. So I will give them 1 more chance, please Obsidian deliver on your potential. ...

The trailer looks fun. The Gearbox guys must be loving the fact that they can do stuff like this now. Good for them.

That is the future of every game from a big publisher and it's not going to change until the gaming industry crashes. If you don't like it, then convince people not to buy all the CoD and Battlefield dlc, otherwise get use to being nickled and dimed out of all your cash. So long as Activision and EA are making millions of dollars off DLC this practice will never stop and all the other publishers will follow their example.

I really hope they do a sequel. This was an excellent game and I would love to see how well it does with marketing dollars behind it.

First off, people like you? This isn't just a group of people getting together to have fun it's a "Battle of the Sexes." Don't get upset with me for calling you out on the title of your article. How about instead of "Battle of the Sexes" you just say that these two teams are coming together to battle it out, all in the name of fun and competition.

Oh I know why, because that would sound boring. Instead you use a title like that to intentionall...

Battle of the sexes, seriously? Ugh, this could be straight from a Ubisoft press conference it's so bad. I just don't get what this proves at all. If the females win then so what, they won. If the females lose than so what, they lost. People don't represent groups, they represent themselves. This whole thing is just pointless, but whatever. I hope everyone here gets paid.

I have heard this argument before about no game possibly being perfect and honestly that opinion is just another way of being biased. How can we know a game will or will not be perfect before we plays it? The fact that you are saying that no game should reach that level is just you declaring that before even playing a game your biases are in place.

It's not a sign of a good review or reviewer to say that no game can be perfect because what makes something perfect is comp...

G4tv has been dead for a long time now. It was only because of a few people like Adam Sessler and Kevin Peria that G4tv hung on as long as it did. When those two left there was nothing left of G4tv but a bunch of pretentious fake nerds and gaming girls that didn't know the A button from the B button.

Whatever floats your boat. Oh and my comments are based on what happened to the PSP when it got pirated. Yes people will still buy Vita games, but if this hack gets to the level of the psp hack then sells are going to dramatically drop of games.

True Nintendo does need big third party developers, but no matter what Nintendo did third parties where going to be skeptical. The WiiU can be the best console ever, but traditionally Nintendo first party games do well on the Nintendo platforms and everyone else is a distant second. So regardless, they where going to have to prove that third parties can and will do well on their platform.

However, if all I have to look forward on the WiiU is a Bethesda port then they can just...

Online is important, but what online games for the psp was worth it. Monster Hunter was great but you could still get on online with a hacked psp through xlink kai. I get your point, but so far handheld gaming seems to be a single player thing.

Nintendo does some really cool stuff in the mobile online market, but Sony has yet to catch up with them in this department and so far the Vita is far behind too. I can only hope that their upcoming online fps games for Vita are great...

Well I give it about the end of this month until the system is completely hacked. Good news is that Vita sells will be up. Bad news is that Vita game sells, which are already poor, will become none existent.

I really love ff13, but this game is just hated by so many people. I will be glad when the FF folk get pass the whole FF13 series. I do hope they learned from this debacle to only release their games on 1 platform. If they learned this then the whole FF13 situation was worth it.

Curt Schilling invested all of his own money to the point where his entire life is going to change dramatically now that his projected failed. Also, his business would not have ended so badly if the new Governor of Rhode Island would have honored the deal he made with the former Governor.

Kingdoms of Amalur was a solid game and a sequel would have seen much success. This would have eventually lead to enough brand recognition to either do that mmo, that was going to fail, or ...
