It's like Keji Inafune said, current Japanese developers aren't forging a path ahead. Instead they are just following tried and true formulas, that worked a long time ago. The problem is that the industry and taste of today's gamer has changed. With that said, there are still great Japanese games being released, but Japanese developers needs to venture out and start forging a new path to make the new standards for this generation. Once they start doing that, then they will find th...
True, but they can back up their talk with amazing game after amazing game. Unlike David Jaffe, David Cage, Jade Raymond, or Peter Molyneux. These guys are the real deal and they are enjoying the spotlight a bit. Considering the death threats they got for making Bayonetta 2 for the WiiU, let them enjoy the spotlight for a bit.
It definitely looks like hardcore gamers will not be able to ignore the WiiU now. The Bayonetta publishing move and the Monster Hunter deal makes it clear that Nintendo is trying to regain it's dominance amongst hardcore gamers now. I don't think they will ever surpass Microsoft and Sony in the hardcore games department but they don't have too. All they need to do is secure a few titles that tugs at the hearts of hardcore gamers. People can say what they want, I will be playing Ba...
Bro FF13 gets hated on like crazy because it was too linear. I like ff13 and I get a ton of shit for it. I barely ever hear anyone praise it, unless you are talking about a small group of hardcore jrpg fans.
Just a lazy port, the WiiU will see a lot of them at first.
The reality is that we aren't going to see what the WiiU is capable of doing until about a year out. ZombiU and Wonderful 101 will give us a decent idea, but we are going to have to wait a bit to see what WiiU is truly capable of doing. We are just now about to get The Last of Us for ps3, which looks amazing and just look at Two Souls.
Sadly, Square was more concerned about porting the game than doing anything impressive. Other developers will behave similar at first and...
For all it's problems, at least I can still play the game if I am not able to connect online.
For twice the price.
I would be more worried if gamers thought Nintendo was making all the right moves and what they are coming out with now isn't a fad. Haters gonna hate.
I never brought a Wii because I use logic to determine what I spend my money on and logically the Wii was not worth it to me. I look at the WiiU and I will be buying that console because logically there is already enough games I want to play on it and the idea of HD Nintendo 1st party games does interest me. I feel for so...
So hyped for this. This dlc and dark souls dlc for consoles will keep me busy for a long time.
So long as they don't include Bethesda's broken dlc system for ps3, I am fine.
Doing nothing is not the answer either. The true problem is that people don't feel they will be held accountable for their actions so they behave poorly. If Microsoft wanted to put a system of safeguards in place to stop harassment they could. Make no mistake, everything you say and do on XBL is recorded and documented.
Pay close attention to the WiiU and how Nintendo handles online interactions, because you are going to see regulations happen. This is going to be a big ...
I guess this is good right.
You aren't wrong here, I would just say keep an open mind and wait and see what Nintendo does. Sooner than later you will know if the console is for you.
This Little Inferno game looks insane.
I heard that Nintendo is going to be really aggressive with getting content for the eShop by cutting developers insane deals to get content for the eShop. Considering the Deluxe version of the WiiU comes with a 10% discount on digital products I am definitely excited to see what they do here. It's odd to say, but the eShop could be the best thing about the WiiU.
They are only "real" until they get a record deal and then they are just as commercial as everyone else.
Bro I looked at what the Wii was offering objectively and decided not to buy it. I am sorry for all you folks that got burned, but you have to make purchases objectively based on what is there and what you know will be there.
With that said, I am buying a WiiU because there is already enough stuff their to justify my purchase. I want to play ZombiU, Bayonetta 2 when it's released, Wonderful 101, Raymend Legends, the good Wii games I missed, the Nintendo 1st party games, ...
This is exactly why I don't trust reviews anymore. Most gaming press simply cannot be trusted to be professional.
Shouldn't we wait and see if his 4 games come out before assuming they won't? Thats like assuming that Bayonetta 2 won't be released because it was only announced. Also, back up your statements with facts. What Keji Inafune said is know, what you stated is not a known fact. Maybe it's true, but I am not taking your word for it.
