This looks absolutely incredible. If Sony shows ANY gameplay of this game AT ALL, it will steal the show from anyone else. It is simply so different and innovative that there is NOTHING else out there like it.

I totally understand that, too, but the fact is that Microsoft probably paid some moolah to get this exclusively on the 360. Plus, Capcom has favored Microsoft slightly more than Sony this generation. I think Microsoft has a similar relationship to Capcom that Sony has with EA. We're getting two games for one in Dead Space 2, which is just awesome, and xbox is basically getting the same thing with DR2.
@mastiff: Yeah, the controls were definitely wonky, but I thought once you got used to them the third person gameplay was pretty fun. First person sucked, though.

Well, since the first Dead Rising was only on xbox, I think it makes sense because those'll be the people who know who Frank West is.
@vickers; I'm the same age you are here in the U.S. and this is not appealing to me at all. I'm guessing that they watched the twilight movies and said to themselves thats what a western audience wanted. I haven't trusted Ninja Theory since they complained so much about developing Heavenly Sword and how hard it was on the ps3, and this just gives me another reason to hate Ninja Theory.
As long as he doesn't have long, pathetic, high pitched soliloquies like when Samus took off her mask in Metroid: other M, then I think it'll be fine. Metroid: other M had some great gameplay, but I always liked to think of Samus as more of a badass.

That demo was just pathetic. Seriously, how can they borrow this heavily from an extremely solid game like Gears of War and fail miserably?
I'm actually thinking about selling my wii and the games too. I just don't see how its applicable anymore. I only got my wii a few months ago, and it has honestly not gotten a gigantic amount of playtime. sure, Zelda and Mario are great, but theres nothing else that really interests me at all. Definitely. Remember that Uncharted 3 is probably going to come out next year too, though, so game of the year will probably belong to that.

Move could actually be really interesting on these games. It might help with things like the bow and arrow and what if they used that chameleon demo to be like the main character where you actually feel like you're climbing on top of the collussus. I'm thinking, with move implementation, Shadow of the Collossus, Ico, and the Last Guardian could be the flagship titles for Move according to the hardcore gamer.
Definitely. I thought it was just dumb at first, but now its really starting to appeal to me. I might wait until a few of the more hardcore games to come out, but I'll definitely be getting the controller sometime.
I don't know, man. I wouldn't say anything until you actually play it. Plus, its not like they're saying anything bad about the controller. They're just saying that for this particular game, it could have been a little more accurate.
I guess the playstation 3 just doesn't exist in their eyes. I'm a pswii owner and while I'm very excited about Kirby's Epic Yarn just like they are, I'm more excited about Little Big Planet 2 and Infamous 2 neither of which were mentioned once. Seriously, they talked about Vanquish more than any other game in this entire bonus round.
I'll rent it. I can't see myself buying a game as repetitive as this anyways. It should be fun killing zombies for about 10 hours or so, but after that I can't imagine it being very exciting.
