I have high hopes for this game, but I don't think its going to live up to them honestly. What I would love is a Heavy Rain like interpretation of the mafia life. Some really good decision moments and dialogue could make for a really interesting, dark, and visceral gaming experience.

I don't know if I would say its GOOD for children. As long as they know they can't go outside and slice peoples heads off with a machete, I don't think it really harms kids. It all depends on the maturity of the child and should be up to the parents. Some kids are ready for violent video games as early as the age of 10, but others really shouldn't be exposed to them until later.

They sold pretty well, but nothing outstanding. However, I think this industry needs this game to stop taking itself SO seriously. While games like Heavy Rain and Mass Effect 2 are cool with their deep and mysterious stories, Twisted Metal with its extremely campy live action intros and totally ridiculous plot is also needed for diversity and fun.

Twisted Metal knows its a video GAME and is not afraid to show it. The industry now almost feels like its ashamed of its nerd...

I wouldn't mind it so much if the map packs came with some new perks, guns, and modes. Map packs that come just with maps should really be under 10 dollars, though. I only bought the stimulus pack because I sold the game before the other one came out, but the map pack was definitely overpriced in my opinion.

I think its very important for Sony to really show how the Move is true one to one compared to the wii just using pre scripted animations when you do the movement. That is one of the things that really differentiates the two. The fight really doesn't look very appealing to me unless its a 10 or 15 dollar downloadable title and the shoot is pretty much the same.

However, Motorstorm Apocalypse looks like Split Second on steroids. While it was a good idea to have the ...

I find it hilarious that someone disagrees that I liked a game. But I guess I was wrong. I must have hated that game instead of spending almost 150 hours on it.

I really enjoyed the first Dirt game, but I didn't feel the need for sequels. I never played the second one because the first one really satisfied my need for offroad rally racers. I want developers to make new racing games focussing on different subject matters like little rascal scooter racing or shopping cart racing. A game full of ridiculous and wacky racing with everyday objects would be great. I want to flying down the road on a tv cabinet or an easy bake oven! Nay, I need to b...

I'm pretty sure I already knew Pikmin changed gaming. I LOVED that game.

I loved Warrior Within. The typo in this topic made me think of some fond memories of outrunning the shadow and falling down tapestries. Moody Prince kind of sucked, though.

A ton of these have been done, but Sony isn't stupid. They're only releasing the sly collection because Infamous 2 is right around the corner which is another sucker punch game. We'll probably see a lot of these collections over the next few years, but there is no reason for Sony to do it unless the developer is releasing another game near the collection's release. I'm sure the ICO collection will come out near The Last Guardian and the MGS collection will come out befo...

Of course it has to appeal to a wider audience, but there's also games that embrace multiple difficulties to make themselves much more difficulty. For example, playing Uncharted 2 in casual and hardcore modes are two totally different experiences. Same thing for other games like God of War in titan mode and Gears of War in its hardest difficulty. Meanwhile, there are other games like Super Mario Galaxy 2 which is pretty easy to complete the story, but if you actually want to complete t...

That sounds like a huge money pit to me.

I really hope this game lives up to its potential. they said its pretty much just day missions from Unleased, so that sounds good in my opinion.

Pretty cool idea, but I don't know if this is the developer I would choose to do this project. I would be talking to Ubisoft Montreal or Rockstar about this rather than the Crackdown developers.

Conviction was a very controversial title because it abandoned all of the hardcore stealth fanatics like me and opted for a more open action approach. I'm not saying the game was bad, but it certainly wasn't my cup of tea. I feel that if they made Assasin's Creed a bit more linear in some of the bigger missions and had more scripted action sequences the game could be really awesome. Assassin's Creed 2 was great, but I felt like the missions were almost limited by the games ...

wow, 2011 is going to be a monster year for the ps3. This is also kind of nice because it allows me to focus a bit more on the loads of third party products coming this fall for all systems along with some of the wii exclusives I'm looking forward too. At least they came out and said it right when the rumors started.

Hmmmmmm.... interesting. However, Sony's been pushing move with SOCOM big for a while now. I'm a bit surprised by this news! However, I would much rather have Zipper take out all the bugs and make sure everythings balanced before its released rather than releasing something thats garbage

Yes, but pc is the only place its coming to, its been in development forever, and marketing has been insanely costly for the game. 1.8 mil on day one is fantastic, but sales need to keep up in the coming weeks and months for it to be a success and reviews like this aren't exactly helping those sales.

I would be happy with Starhawk. Or R3. Or Uncharted 3. Or Jak 4. Or pretty much anything else.

Nothing lives up to the amount of hype given to starcraft II. Nothing!
