definitely. I'll probably pick it up in a few months. these bugs are just inexcusable, though.

I just bought this game and its absolutely fantastic. Seriously, the time limits are VERY generous and it doesn't matter if you do the missions anyways unless you want experience. I just love the freedom of choice in this game and am really enjoying it. I can tell by the times I'm going to replay this that it was worth 60$ for me personally. No game is for everyone, however.

They can't have this many bugs three times in a row. Oblivion was buggy, but we looked past it because the game was so rich and amazing. Fallout 3 was buggy, put we looked past it again because it was so different and interesting. Fallout:New Vegas is buggy and this time they shouldn't be able to get away with it. For their third game this generation, this is pathetic. It doesn't matter how good the game is if you can't even play it.

yeah. I think for fallout 3 the bugs and glitches were just accepted and people saw the light at the end of the tunnel with the phenomenal gameplay and vast amount of content. However, two-three years later with little to no improvement is very dissapointing. It doesn't really matter how good the game is when you can barely even play it.

I don't really understand. Is John Marston a zombie himself, or is this before the stuff that happened in RDR? If someone could explain, that would be great!

I would have much preferred just a normal ending to the game without all that Pyramid crap. The slavers should have stayed as an omnipotent, mysterious force in the world. The final battle was awesome against that scorpion thing, though.

The demo is really not an adequate representation of the whole game. It gets much better than that later on in the game. I don't understand why companies that put out demos always put out the beginning of the game and I think they should put different parts out there.

@redrum. Yeah, I don't really know. I'm guessing thats what the DLC will explain.

But he pulls off HEISTS!!! How can you not like a game thats chock full of heists? Its so much fun! If I were you I would at least give Sly 2 a try. Thats on my top 10 games of all time list. I LOVED that game.

Hey Supman!!!! You might want to look at Q1 next year before you start talking about ps3 exclusives like this. Plus, Gran Turismo 5 is incoming! However, I can see your point. A LOT of ps3 exclusives have been moved to next year. Oh well, I would rather have a game thats been in the oven for the perfect amount of time than one that was taken out early and sucks.

Lycanthropes, necromancers, and vampires, oh my! I can see your point, but Castlevania for me is about the atmosphere. I always played the NES and SNES titles because I love campy horror films. As long as a Castlevania has those elements I really don't care what they do to the gameplay. I've never been a huge fan of Symphony of the Night compared to THE Super Castlevania IV or Castlevania III.

Probably not. They talked about DLC, which will probably link the in game ending with the post credit ending. The sequel will probably be set quite a few years after the first one. Remember to watch after the credits! Its one of the biggest surprises of the year for me and gets me extremely excited for a sequel.

One of the only reviewers left that thinks 5 is average, 3 is bad, and 7 and above is great. Too bad more sites don't do that.

I don't think it was a good review at all. I agree with the god of war comparisons, mind you, but all the other reviews said that about 1/3 of the way through the game to the end it is all in castles. It sounds like they didn't really play the ENTIRE game. They didn't say anything about the magic, the boss battles, or really anything even relatively interesting about the game. My guess is they only played halfway through.

I think a big problem for this game is going to be intimidation. For outsiders of the gaming community, they have probably heard the name Castlevania before. However, it's thought of as an extremely hardcore game series. If I wasn't really big into videogames I would probably pass on this because I would be worried that it would be too hard or I wouldn't understand it and just get frustrated. They need to sell this as a completely new product and a reboot.

well, ign played the first 3 chapters out of 12 and it took them 8 hours reportedly. Thats a bit ridiculous, but the german review that came out a week ago said around 25 hours and the creators of the game itself said a standout point of the game will be its length later commenting that it was about 3 times a regular action game length. Most people pin action games between the 6-8 hour mark so that means anywhere from 18-24 hours for an average playthrough on normal difficulty. If you want...

I'm so excited for this game. 20 hour journey through vampire infested woods and castles? SIGN ME UP! I have the limited edition paid off at gamestop and can't wait till the 5th!

Definitely. Also, I think a huge thing is totally different pacing. God of War is SO good and SO loved by its fans because each one is an 8 hour punch of entirely action packed adrenaline with jaw dropping visuals and ridiculous set pieces. However, Lords of Shadow is going to be a bit slower paced and more thoughtful in its approach to the action genre. Both styles are great in my opinion.

I'm downloading the demo right now, but I'm not going to get this until next year if its any good. I'll be getting the Castlevania Lords of Shadow Limited edition and Little Big Planet 2 this holiday season, but then just waiting for everything else to go on sale or go down in price. Theres a lot of interesting games coming out this holiday, but only 3 or 4 of them are worth buying in my opinion. Enslaved, unless its longer than 8-12 hours (which I doubt), is not going to be on...
