Pan's Labyrinth= amazing movie
just throwing it out there
I really don't want to have to wait for hours just download an entire game, personallly. Is it really that hard to make a box and write down a few instructions on a manual? Plus, its a lot harder for a casual audience to connect to something they can't physically hold in their hands.
Well, its just an opinion. However, lets face it, pc games are selling less and less these days unless it has a World of Warcraft stamp on it and its a BIG budget game. When the rubber meets the road, Blizzard has to make a buttload of cash to make Starcraft II profitable.
That movie was awful!
Emotion? He can't even evoke emotion in a movie let alone a video game. Anyways, my most emotional digital media experiences this year are
1. Heavy Rain (playstation)
2. Inception (movie)
3. Alan Wake (xbox)
As long as the weapons are well balanced it really shouldn't matter. I'm sure both sides will still have your standard guns such as assault rifle, submachine, shotgun, and pistol. I want this game NOW!
I really hope they have some new and fresh modes! The tried and true team deathmatch, search and destroy, and capture the flag are fun, but I would like to have a constantly changing battlefield option like in Killzone 2 when there are 30 minute games with 4 different modes. That would be cool.
Definitely, but I think the genre of the platformer has evolved. Sure, we still have our Mario's and staple platformers, but games like Infamous, Ratchet and Clank, and Uncharted are really evolving the genre into a more of an action medley jamboree which is great. There will always be a place for the pure platformer in my heart, but the new and shiny ones coated with a paint of action and shooting are nice too.
Demo was fair. Plus: The environments looked fantastic. Minus: The characters looked awful. Plus: the conrols were nice and tight. Minus: The AI were as smart as a brick wall with Lindsay Lohan's face on it.
I'm honestly surprised the first one got a sequel. It wasn't bad, but it was just a run of the mill tps. With SOCOM coming out this fall, I've got this genre covered
RUN TO THE HILLS FROM THE SCARY FIRMWARE UPDATE!!!!!!!! haha, at least one person's ps3 in the world must break everyday, the firmware update is just a very easy excuse.
"Oh no, I dropped my ps3 down the stairs! It must have been that firmware update!"
DEFINITELY!!!!!! That was actually the only game I had on my saturn when I was younger.
It'll be fun for about an hour, then we'll be begging for our controllers back. Kinect is flashy, new, and cool, but its just not practical for a 150 dollar game platform. Microsoft needs to be showing more of this stuff that the PSeye didn't already do years ago, though.
The vision of John Marston speaking japanese just makes me chuckle.
Kinect could be a real big thing for Microsoft if they market it correctly and make enticing casual audience packages. However, it won't last long. It'll soon be sitting up on top of people's tvs collecting dust because it just cannot be used for substantial gaming experiences and the interface advantages can only take it so far. We've already seen its limitations where girls can't wear dresses or you have different heights of friends (a huge problem since I'm 6'...
It's great and all, but I really think this game has been overhyped after its release. I'm not saying that its a bad game by any means, but its just praised a little too highly in my opinion.
I absolutely love that they are focussing a lot of manpower on the single player campaign. They've pretty much perfected online hardcore third person shooting and to see them trying something a little different for the series is really nice.
Haha, I totally forgot about this game. I remember how much this was hyped at the console's launch. Who knew that the ps3 would have such killer games like Killzone 2, Heavy Rain, and Uncharted 2 now!
Oh mainstream news media, you are adorable! You try to stick your nose in EVERYTHING!
They should. I would much rather buy it that way than with the sports game. They should really do it with pretty much every move game on release so you can get the game you want with it instead of feeling like you wasted money on a casual sports game.
amazing games that really reminded of an old school mindset. Those games were MADE for a hardcore audience and I'm really excited for this one.
Athough I loved Limbo, I think 15 dollars is a bit steep for 3 hours of gameplay. Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty was 14.99 and that lasted for 6-7 hours and Bionic Commando was another one that lasted for a while. I would be happier with the price for Limbo if it was 9.99
