People need to understand that you still need a WiiU to dump the games from, so what's the purpose of using an emulator thinking that you are bypassing getting the console. If people just want to see the enthusiasts side and see how much they can tweak games, that's one thing. But no one should think that they are just going to be able to buy WiiU games and plop it in their DVD drive like normal...
Lol, this actually pretty hilarious since the guys over at NeoGaf have been discussing this more and how it works. You still have to have a WiiU to dump the games from, so I'm not sure why people are getting so excited as if they can bypass the console completely and put a WiiU disc into their computers and be done with it...
Well you'll be waiting a long time! Im starting to believe that you don't actually play games on your WiiU. I think that you bought it just so you can come into any negative Nintendo article and trash talk the company. I know you have other systems as well but you rarely ever comment much on those. It's just getting old seeing someone constantly berate a console that he owns but wants to praise anything negative surrounding the company. If you don't like the console then sell ...
Even if they get this thoroughly working in 2 yrs, the NX will be out and no one will really be thinking about WiiU games.
Lol, just you quoting that line makes me want to start rewatching the Cell Saga again... So Epic
My guess is that these titles that are being converted over for WiiU won't have to be for the NX.
Well by next year there might be a new handheld out in Japan, so PS4 might be selling better than the 3ds at that point. But only because people are buying the new handheld system...
I have absolutely no clue what your comment means... what are you referring to?
Considering that games are getting 10-15GB patches these days, was expecting to come into this article and see that the game was like 20GB's or something.
Seeing this just makes me sad at how they ruined Gohan. Sure he didn't like to fight, but in most situations during DragonBall Z he turned the tide of war to their favor. Not to mention that because he's just as smart as piccolo with coming up with solutions, he should be the most dangerous Z fighter. I hope in the new series they have him training again to regain his powers, maybe Pan or Videl dies and that sets him off... When Gohan went SS2, that was the most that I've ever hea...
This is really a dead argument or it should be by now! Most conscious buyers don't buy Nintendo systems for the amazing 3rd party games. Usually we see an amazing list of 1st party games and whatever 3rd parties decide to give to Nintendo is what we have. Even the Wii got 3rd party shovel ware, while the HD twins received the AAA titles. They really didn't try to sell any games to the core Nintendo fans. Just look at how Hyrule Warriors did or even Splatoon. Some 3rd party company cou...
Did it really take the focus off of their current systems? Both are still selling at or about the same pace they were before the announcement. The 3ds is close to the end of its life cycle, so it's not a shocker that sales are slowing. While the WiiU never took off to an acceptable level after following the very successful Wii. Nintendo just needs to have a cohesive vision when it comes to the NX. The right hardware, launching with the right software will move systems quickly!
Most of the people commenting here are just trolling a WiiU article as normal. They have no clue or interest in supporting Nintendo or 1st and 2nd party developers. The NX will have launched and probably be in its 2nd year by the time this emulator is running half way decent. Seeing as most top WiiU games run at 60fps, you will either need a pretty powerful PC to make the games look graphically better while running close to the original framerate. Or only smaller games will be remotely playab...
It would be really amazing if we find out that Nintendo has secretly been working on this the whole time, since that tech demo was first shown. An HD remake would be far more impressive than just a port of the Wii or GC Twilight Princess. Wind Waker is a much better game on the WiiU and it only took around 10 people 6 months to do that.
I have no clue why anyone actually believes that this is the reason games are remastered! Just look at the amount of games that came out just a year or 2 ago that have been remastered for XbOne and PS4 already. Are we to assume that no one owned either the PS3 or 360 to have not played some or most of these games? It's easy money, that's why they are being made...
I see people mentioning Until Dawn, but does anyone know exactly what it sold? These companies generally low ball the budget for these types of games and only require a much smaller goal to break even or make a profit.
How and why are people assuming that Bayonetta 2 wasn't profitable? It's at like 800k+ sold and most of those came from the states.
What I don't understand is that many begged for this game to be translated and even if Nintendo did a digital only release they would be happy. Now people are complaining about no physical release! If the game sells enough copies, then they might introduce a physical release...
This exactly, I've seen people say that if it was $99 then they will buy one. Which is such a stupid comment to make! No matter how you feel about Nintendo games or their hardware, the system is definitely worth spending at least $199 just for their exclusive games. I don't go crazy over 3rd party games at all, but if you told me that I could buy a XbOne or PS4 for $199. That's an instant grab, no matter what their current games situation maybe.
WiiU was announced in 2011 and came out in 2012. If we just start hearing concrete info about NX next year, that's 4 yrs on the market and will be 5yrs by the time it launches. Why do people keep making it seem like Nintendo is cutting it short? The system didn't turn out the way they were hoping, they supported it as much as one manufacturer possibly could and now they plan on moving on to greener pastures.
