The only 3rd party games that consistently sell well on Xbox or Playstation are from EA, Ubisoft or Activision. So Nintendo would dig a quick grave releasing games on those consoles. They would be better off just having a handheld, while also releasing their mobile games and doing PC support than to deal with putting their games on Sony or Microsoft's systems.
But Nintendo has lots of time before they would ever have to think about stuff that dire. Why don't people ...
Once again Nintendo isn't copy pasting their mainline franchises onto mobile devices. If you think that the next major mainline Pokémon series is coming to mobile phones you are insane! But it doesn't matter what the company says people heat what they want to anyways...
Because the development of the games is still on Nintendo’s end, they've said this many times. To quote Miyamoto, "A delayed game is eventually good, but a bad game is forever bad!"
I definitely see that you don't have reading comprehension. They aren't integrating the new account system into Facebook and Twitter as much as they are developing an OS that communicates with these apps seamlessly(only if you have an active Twitter or Facebook account of course)not required though.
For those people who enjoy sharing the social aspects of their gaming life this is actually a major step forward. You think it's dumb because you don't understand...
You guys act as if people don't live stream Nintendo games on Twitch. The biggest problem that Nintendo seems to have is with people making money off of something that Nintendo created...
From reading your initial comment it sounded as if you were suggesting that the thought of their next project being multi-platform was being made up. But after your second reply, I can see you meant solely his response as there was bad blood between the two companies being the made up part...
Ahh, one of my favorite Aaliyah songs... :(
Well actually Ready at Dawn is a private company, so they could do multi-platform development. They've just mostly worked with Sony in the past exclusively, just how Next Level Games is independent but generally works with Nintendo exclusively.
If they don't expect the PSVR to sell 1 million off the back this thing must be $400-$500...
So Nintendo is so irrelevant in many people's minds that they feel the need to post comments on a company that they wish corporate suicide on... We even have people saying that Nintendo isn't in a stable situation now even though they are making profits again. The whole company at Sony posted 280+ million in profits, while a much smaller videogames only manufacturer in Nintendo with 2 lackluster products (compared to the previous systems) posted a profit of 75+ million.
Your comment doesn't address anything what I've said! I'm not putting this game down for anything it does content wise, but many people just by seeking Nier on reveal went in hard on the visuals and I don't think that this game looks any better.
So why are people defending the story and emotional value of The Last Guardian? While Platinum Games may not be known for an epic story, Nier will probably be one of the best action games of this generation. That'...
I sure hope that all of these arm chair analyst are around when Nintendo fully rebounds and let's all of the information out about what they've been working on. Nintendo has definitely made some major mistakes in the past, but if people are so blinded to think that a company can't rectify it's future based on its past, then they are supporting the wrong industry. Not to mention when has a company with such strong IP's that they finally plan to leverage, money in the bank a...
It makes no sense that people are even disagreeing with you because it's a public fact that the stocks jumped up right after the mobile announcement this year and the drop in Stock is direct result of those delayed software efforts.
But this is Nintendo we're talking about so a company that is currently making new hardware(NX), has theme park plans, tv/movie deals is obviously doomed to fail and should only be a 3rd party company.../s
Sega is currently struggling and only made 7 million dollars in profit this quarter and yet people feel that Nintendo should do exactly what Sega does. There's absolutely no guarantee that Sony and Microsoft gamers will buy Nintendo software or that Nintendo’s core audience of handheld and console buyers will move over to those other systems.
Nintendo would be absolutely foolish to give up the possibility of even being moderately successful like they were during the Wii/DS d...
Your comment makes no sense, because the drop in their stocks is directly related to their delay in mobile apps and games and not anything to do with their dedicated platforms. People love to reach!
If you have a pretty decent PC rig than probably Occulus. If you own a PS4 already the PSVR is the better choice. But if you don't own either the price to get a PS4 and PSVR are going to cost some coin and you might as well just build up your PC at that point and still get Occulus.
It's very weird to me that people assume it's damn near impossible for Nintendo to rise back to the top, but fail to acknowledge them finally leveraging their IP's for more than gaming... This is a very key factor that many here aren't even discussing, when it comes to them bouncing back. Of course present Nintendo has a tough climb because they really haven't done anything outside of gaming. But a Nintendo with movies, TV shows, theme parks and games based on their IP'...
So how do people defend how this game looks but rail on Nier when it was first shown?
It's funny that most people equate a WiiU owner to buying only Mario and Zelda games. But it's games like this, Bayonetta 2, Pikmin, Wonderful 101 and SMTxFE that got me to buy a WiiU. I'm a much bigger Zelda and Metroid fan than I am into Mario games.
I'm starting to think that these people that claim they buy all of these systems and play games are just social gamers. I don't understand if these people trolling have all of these games to play, how does one find the time to post comments every waking moment about a company that they don't like.
I understand constructive criticism very well, and it would be very different if these people actually commented on the companies that they do like. But to spend all day...
