Why are people even talking about PS5, Sony just announced that they plan on pushing the PSVR very hard and not make a profit on the units sold, just to get the install base to as many customers as possible.
Why, when and where do they have the finances and time to start focusing on the PS5 in this same time frame. If anything the PS4 will most likely be on the market for quite some time before any news about the next system leaks out.
Your comment makes no sense because Nintendo has done a bang up job supporting two systems all by themselves. Even if the NX comes out next year, the WiiU will have been on the market for 4yrs. Where are they giving up?
This is definitely off topic but I think one of the mobile games that Nintendo ends up revealing will be something that rivals what Supercell is doing with Clash of Clans and Microsoft with Age of Empires. These two games rake in so much money for these companies that it's insane. Plus Nintendo has some great franchises that could be a great basis for that style of play and character elements.
I never understand port begging, why not all console makers just release their titles for PC if people are so concerned with specs. These current systems aren't extremely powerful either, that why developers are forced to choose resolution over framerate and vice versa.

What puzzles me the most is I think Nintendo knows that whatever information they reveal about Zelda U will probably be telling for what's going on with the NX. If Nintendo announced right now that the release window for Zelda U is aiming for a 1st or 2nd quarter for 2016, most would assume they are doing this to clear the way for new hardware in the fall.

I'm betting at this point that Zelda U wasn't delayed for lack of content, but mostly because Nintendo wants to blow out 2016 being the 30th anniversary. The video of Anouma and Miyamoto during the Video Game Awards proved that the build of the game they showed off wasn't the most current version of that game, as Miyamoto let's out of the bag elements that he has already seen in place on another build.

Definitely not true because as Anouma mentioned in a previous interview, the Zelda team is broken up into 1 larger group and then 1 or 2 smaller teams that usually puts in the finishing touches on a project and then start to throw around ideas for the next project.
My guess is that the team or teams working on Zelda U are just putting in final details at this point, so one of the smaller teams is probably already tossing around ideas of what could work in the next game and ...

Absolutely not, now it should have the possibility to be on both systems. But if Zelda U was moved to the NX completely, it would always be looked at as not a true NX Zelda title. Just like Pikmin 3 is a great game, but you can still see elements of the game being a Wii ported project. Plus I wouldn't want Zelda U being on NX exclusively to severely delay when we get an actual NX ground up Zelda title.

Here's what I love about Nintendo as a company is that the profits they make even at their absolute worse is comparable to Sony as a whole when they're doing their best (PS4). The PS4 is selling like crazy I will give them that, but they will never muster the kind of profits that Nintendo did at their best when selling the Wii/DS!

I actually think that Fire Emblem would make a great MMO spin off. The series has so many characters and back stories that a game in that style if done well could be pretty epic. I think many people forget something when it comes to Nintendo, forget about them creating new franchises just for the sake of something new. I want them to flesh out and show some love to great IP's that have been on hiatus for a long time.
