Once again, there are things that Nintendo needs to update with regards to their online gaming network. But how can people go in on Nintendo so hard when the company is trying not to charge for these features that you are complaining about. You literally said almost the same thing in another Nintendo article! If you ran Nintendo, they would have folded up shop 20yrs ago... Most people's mentality of thinking what's going to be successful is a copy and paste of what Sony and Microsoft are doing. Not to mention that you can tell you really don't know technology to well because by 2016, Nintendo can easily make NX 2x the power of PS4 and release it for $350 or $299.
They weren't expecting this because when Nintendo announced the mobile games partnership they said that they weren't going to take franchise A and copy paste it over to mobile phones.

Twilight Princess HD is definitely going to be released this year... My guess is that they didn't want the news of the financial briefing to overshadow the TPHD news. Because you are assuming that the way this emulator works is by popping a WiiU disc into your computer and playing the game. But this emulator works because of dumping digital games from a WiiU and if you already own a WiiU why bother with an emulator unless you plan on getting illegal ROM data. This is my biggest issue with this emulator, if you haven't bought the games how do you plan on getting them?

This is why people think that shared memory architecture is such a great thing, but forget that the bandwidth is shared. HBM will completely fix this in future consoles, but currently developers have to make sacrifices and games just won't look as pretty for awhile...

I think people that like to throw DreamCast out there as a terrible console didn't own one. The system was amazing for its time. The company that put it out was in horrible shape, but there are far worse consoles that you could compare WiiU to than DreamCast, just to be negative. The best thing that Nintendo can do is not only hit the hardware out of the park, but have the right games at launch as well. 3rd parties react a little differently on Nintendo systems and they tend to want Nintendo to drive the install base before they fully commit, which is something they didn't do with the WiiU.

Actually for $350 in 2016 it could be twice the power of the PS4. Sony and Microsoft weren't pushing any boundaries with these consoles and if AMD is on target to update their full line up next year to Finfet. Nintendo could be right on time to introduce the NX with a moderately powerful system for a similar price to what the WiiU launched at.

I guarantee that whatever you are currently playing on this year alone probably saw nothing but rehashed and remastered games. Not to mention that if they were new IP's, it's already been announced that it will either be annualized or many more games in the series following soon.
