FFX was Square RPG's at their highest! The rest that are trying to be more action/adventure should have been spin off games in the series. Not saying that FFXV is going to be a bad game, because it's probably going to be pretty amazing. I just don't think of FF when I see that game...

NWR has a detailed video on YouTube that goes in detail about the new changes. The game has definitely seen some polish since e3 and looks much better due to these new details added in.

Definitely, as I've stated many times before. I'm far more interested in KH3 right now than FFXV. FFVII Remake and KH3 just might be Square's most important games right now in my opinion. Not a fan of FFXV's art style at all!
It's not just that he was included, it was that the introduction said Super SmashBros X FFVII. It could have easily said X Square Enix to keep it open to Kingdom Hearts characters or whomever being included. FFVII Remake is most likely coming to the NX simply because that was almost a Square/Enix Direct there. From FF Explorers, DQVII, DQVIII, Bravely Second and Cloud being in SmashBros kind of proves that Nintendo and Square have a much better relationship now...

I agree it's one thing to be skeptical but some of these people's request are pretty ridiculous. It's more of a damned if you do damned if you don't situation that most try to paint for Nintendo.
I think you are spot on and I think that most Nintendo gamers get flack for not buying 3rd party games on the WiiU. But in all honesty most people that have a WiiU and wanted to play those games just went and bought another system to play a better version. It's not that Nintendo gamers won't buy 3rd party games but they should be at least on par to the rival systems versions.

I think your statement is the most polarizing thing that I've seen on N4G in awhile. I've come across more people on this site say that they just want regular controllers and the ability to play their games as normal.
So I'm not so sure that a lot of people are interested in new ways to play games. Either that or there are a bunch of hypocrites on N4G and they are only interested if its their favorite company doing the changing in how we play games.
Well it's definitely going to sell to the hardcore Sony fans that want everything Sony. But being a peripheral add on, it can never be a mainstream success so hopefully Sony is actually committed to this endeavor for quite some time and puts the right software experiences behind the project.

I just remember the discussions that people had back then of that being cgi because there was no way the GameCube could run that in real-time. Rogue Squadron RL showed off what the GC could do perfectly and the NX needs it's version of a game that does that at its reveal... I really wish that Factor 5 was still going strong, those guys were technical wizards.
Nintendo just needs to bring back the Wave Race series, some of the best water physics were in those games. Or just lump Wave Race and 1080 Snowboarding under the Excite series, add online multi-player and custom track/level editor.

Down the road when Nintendo can achieve the level of detail in game as those SmashBros pics. Then that's when they won't need to release another gaming system for quite some time...

Nintendo can do way better than that for the NX. What I really want them to push for is make the next Mario look as close to the SmashBros character reveal cgi. Specifically the one that introduced Charizard and Greninja. People would go nuts instantly over that!

Well considering that we are destined to hear NX news next year, that system isn't to far off. But PS5 is way, way out there and Sony definitely isn't thinking about killing their PS4 momentum just yet.

Exactly! Nintendo should have been advertising the WiiU like this from the beginning. This was one of the better commercials I have seen for the system, next to the MK8 ones of course.
