It's pretty obvious that Nintendo needs 3rd party support and while we don't know anything about the NX right now it's pretty pointless to go into deep speculation about the subject. What I don't like is when the goal post constantly moves on what Nintendo needs to do to gain 3rd party games back.
If Nintendo creates a system with great specs, easy to develop for software libraries, launches the system at a great price for what the hardware offers, comparable...
The N64 controller introduced some of the first truly 3d games around, not to mention what it did for platformers (SM64 & Banjo Kazooie) and shooters (Goldeneye 007, TuroK & Perfect Dark). Of course these aren't all of the games that the system had, but the N64 really brought a new light to how games are played on consoles.
Probably going to be announced at the VGA's...
I didn't realize that Zelda U is going to be 300 Sq miles in size. My most anticipated game of 2016 so far right now! The animations in that game are just amazing and hopefully something that Nintendo pushes even harder on the NX.
People always talk about the visual aspect of games as being next-gen or not. But they rarely include the level of detail put into the animations right up there as well with that topic. Character animations, A.I., framerate, sounds/environment ...
I can't believe that I didn't quite grasp this before, but all this talk of how big Xenoblade X is. Zelda U is simply massive in comparison, like twice as big! Easily my most hyped game for 2016 after getting that little snippet of the game. They will probably show more off at the VGA's I'm betting or I'm hoping. The game is not only beautiful but Nintendo is focusing on something that I really want next-gen games to have and that's incredible animations across the boa...
Hopefully they go from here and continue to build hype lead up to the NX reveal and E3...
Once again if new culture and differences you would also known that many Western developed games are censored as well when they go east. You make it sound so one sided as if this is just a Nintendo thing. I would agree with you if they censored the hell out of Bayonetta 2, but they didn't.
Well Rhonda would have to train for a rigorous amount of time to get to where she needs to be for a rematch. Everytime I watch it back, Holy completely took Rhonda off her game and was laser focused.
Not only that but when you watch the interviews afterwards Holly trained extremely hard for this fight and she gave Rhonda her props as a fighter that if she (Holly) didn't bring her A game, she wasn't going to win.
It definitely wasn't rigged, she was totally outclassed and Ill prepared for this fight. I think Rhonda let her fame and celebrity go to her head too quickly.
What else are they going to do they don't really play games... So this is their full time job!
Not necessarily, the game most likely just uses in game engine for its cinematics instead of cgi movies. Which is why most PS4 and XbOne games are bloated beyond belief.
I just want to see if people are going to come in here and claim that they aren't buying the game now because of this... lol
Negative news is cancer and candy on N4G. Just look at this article with glowing praise for the game and little to no traffic or comments. Yet the removal of a breast slider is one of the biggest postings this game has ever gotten... Something is very wrong with the world!
That's it, it's receiving way to much praise I'm canceling my pre-order right now... /s
Seriously and as many stories as you have published on N4G, you should have a better memory on how things actually happen around here. Even such a game as Bayonetta 2 which sexuality is apart of the characters persona got ridiculed in reviews and I never recall such arguments when the first game came out for the 360 and PS3.
Nintendo caught hell for letting Manhunt2 release on the Wii, but Nintendo is always going to get it a little extra because they are seen as the family ...
Yet they told Platinum to make Bayonetta, Bayonetta but you choose to reference a game that came out almost 20yrs ago. Nice selective cherry picking there! You guys have selective memory because Conker's Bad Fur Day wasn't censored, or Manhunt2 on the Wii getting a AO rating because of its motion controls caused all sorts of news, yet that game came out.
As many have already said if you guys have an agenda against Nintendo take that up somewhere else with them, but ...
Stop! You weren't buying this game, you're just looking for validation. I have never in my life seen someone not buy a RPG for a feature like this. It's one thing if they took something away that played a strategic roll in the combat system... The same people here commenting negatively on this are the same ones that prop up every negative Nintendo article on this site with hits.
Once again it's a damned if you do situation, because Nintendo let's sexuality...
When Bayonetta 2 came out there were many of negative reviews deeming the game to extreme and over-sexualized. Some actually deducted points on reviews because of this... Nintendo was also very lenient with Bayonetta's sexuality because that makes up who she is and they've stated as much.
You obviously aren't aware of Japanese culture reading your comment. Japanese are generally very loose with sexual and provocative showings, but they aren't to keen on our needing blood and extreme violence in games. So games that are coming from western developers and publishers have many parts that may be showing of extreme violence (for their culture and taste) censored.
I'm not condoning the censorship of that element out of the game, but the title is alread...
As long as it's done right, open world games are a much better transition for the future of gaming than military shooters.
