Why do people feel that just because they know nothing that Nintendo isn't talking to developers already? Social Media has everyone feeling entitled for some and it makes no sense at all.
The PS4 install base of 40 million has to be taken into account as well...
Most Nintendo IP would lend greatly to TV series definitely. Some of their IP have way to much to try and tell or get people interested in a 2 to 2 1/2 hour movie, if they know nothing about the franchise. I'm more interested in a Zelda series like (Game of Thrones or Legend of the Seeker).
Metroid, Kid Icarus and Earthbound are probably just a few of the Nintendo IP's that could be adapted pretty well to a live action movie. The others would probably make better ani...

I get that it's being released as a physical copy as well. I was just saying to appease both parties that want the game, it would be nice if companies offered a subtitled digital version at an earlier date. While still offering a retail release later if the demand is there.

That new Polaris gpu actually wipes the floor with both PS4 and XbOne. Consider the fact that AMD was demoing Battlefront locked at 1080p 60fps and the game didn't struggle at all with medium settings, which is about where the current systems run quality wise.
The gtx 950 runs pretty much every game much better than the current systems, so the new chip from AMD should easily do the same for the entry level.

I actually wish that companies did this more often. Even if it's a digital only subtitled version first and then maybe a full version with English voices dubbed down the line.

Never understood this layer of dust analogy, because the lack of using something versus using something all of the time doesn't mean that it collects different amounts of dust. It probably relates to how one cleans their home!
I haven't touched my DVD player in over a year, but it has no dust on it because I clean often. Working around electronics I understand that it's actually the opposite and the more you turn an electronic device on the more dust it attracts....
Once again the DreamCast was the best system Sega ever made! People are so incorrect when they compare the failure of the WiiU to DreamCast situation. The WiiU just wasn't the right console for Nintendo this time around, but the DreamCast was an amazing system but Sega ran out of money... Nowhere are these situations even remotely similar, so I wish people would stop using this flawed analogy.
I think most of this started simply because some gamers can't afford to buy multiple gaming devices, so they put down the one in which they don't own. What I really don't understand is when people don't like a specific company but wish that they made games for their plastic of choice.

For some reason with the boom of the social media age, people's level of self importance has gone through the roof. Many think if for some reason they don't know about a product while it's still in development, it's an instant failure...
I would much rather Nintendo partner with Samsung and actually have a leg up because Samsung has strong products in the market and great fabrication manufacturing down. I just don't understand the theory of everyone wanting one company to rule them all. In what situation in history has anything ruled by one been a great idea?
It's funny that you say Nintendo doesn't do hard things, but they did their best at supporting two systems by themselves. Sony absolutely left their handheld to die in order to support the PS4 only!

It's hilarious to me how much praise Sony is getting and we have no clue how many people they actually plan on hiring. Yes it is a good thing that the industry reaches out to help its own, but many companies do this on a daily basis and just don't publicize it to the world. Even many studios that Sony have closed, the developers were picked up by many 3rd party and competing companies.
