Not to mention that kinect 2 will require quite a bit of processing power to get the full experience that Microsoft wants. I have no clue why people think PS4/720 will usher in some extreme graphics revolution. That would mean they are going to surpass current high-end PC's, which just isn't going to happen by next-gen. Closed systems like consoles will never have the same ventilation and cooling abilities as PC's and be cost effective at the same time. So I completely agree with ...

I for one would like to see a great Iron Man game! Their experience with the whole robotic nature of Transformers would make for a unique take on Iron Man since he's surrounded by lots of high-tech gadgets all of the time... It could be Marvel's answer to the success of the Batman franchise in gaming.

I think it will turn out to be good news for Sony, if it helps them pioneer Cloud gaming on consoles. But as others have stated there are many other factors that cripple cloud based gaming at the moment. The main one being data caps by ISP's! For all of the many possibilities it can provide for backwards compatibility, game demoes or previews of movies or shows. Data caps will continue to be a major thorn in the side of Cloud based anything streaming.

They probably started even earlier than this on the initial ideas of what PS4 will be about... So with it now becoming public knowledge of when Sony probably first started putting hardware together to become the base of PS4. What makes people still think that Sony is going for the bleeding edge in graphics revolution? This info would conclude that PS4 will be no more powerful than highend PC's of today, which is enough by console standards. But it's just not going to be the great leap...

I'm starting to agree with Reggie, that gamers are becoming harder to please! That's all most complain about, is that Nintendo's franchises don't change that much with each iteration. But now people are saying that they don't want it to change to much... The original team is working on this game so I have no doubts that it will be great, while offering new inventive ideas as well.

If people here knew what they were actually talking about, quoting the "leaked 720 specs" does not equal taking a dump on WiiU! Those specs don't place the 720 at magnitudes above what WiiU will be capable of. The PS4 & 720 won't out perform High end PC's of today and have a reasonable price.
You can't have it both ways people.

I know Pikmin started out as a Wii game and i'm sure it will be great regardless. But how amazing would it have been if we had found out at E3 that the Japanese Garden demo was actually Pikmin 3?

@Instigator: What a very well thought out point you make. Most people seem to think that psOne & ps2 sold so many systems because of the hardcore bases only. Sony was the first company to create systems that appeal to both demographics and now it seems that they have forgotten that magic which made them so successful in the first place... Nintendo wants to tap into that ps2 craze because no one has replicated that kind of success since.

I promise that you are in the minority of people that won't buy a videogame system simply because it incorporates region locking! The majority of people have much higher expectations of the WiiU than if it is region locked or not... just not that important to the mainstream really

Well your opinion is your opinion, but this whole power thing is really getting lame. Simply put, most of the games that are debuting on WiiU were created for the PS3/360. So these games just aren't going to show everything that the WiiU is capable of, that's why they call them ports. Between Retro's game and Aliens CM will probably be the first two graphically intense games to showcase the systems abilities. Just because i've never witnessed a lamborghini hit 60mph in 4sec or...

I think of them wanting supporters to use it every day will depend on what kind of software this thing comes preloaded with and what it can do out of the box. Functions like the social apps are to be expected, but I wanna know can I sync my WiiU with my Google contacts to make Skype calls or have an intergrated brower that allows you to speed pass purchase items found online with NFC. Functions like that will get people picking up the WiiU everyday.

I agree that the Wii had some excellent games and was therefore the console of choice for JRPG's. But people like riding Nintendo about the Wii, simply because it wasn't apart of the HD graphics generation. Nevermind if the games were good or not. If it wasn't running on Unreal Engine 3, people declared it a kiddy casual game. All the while, there were some really good looking but horrible games that came along with this HD graphics generation. Am I the only one that remembers whe...

This could be the best SSB ever with this combination of talent working on 2 games for 2 systems. I'm more excited to see how both games will interact with each other and have no doubts that it will probably be one of the biggest selling games on the WiiU.

@Yabhero: I totally agree! People have no clue how porting works. Just because a system maybe easy to develop for or port to doesn't mean that a developer doesn't have to do work when porting a game. It takes effort in getting all of the artwork up and running, while trying to optimize the game and environment to the fullest for the respective hardware that it's running on. Its probably because we are in the generation of copy/paste that people have this simple view of porting. Th...

@Bothebo: please notice that I stated 95+ million buyers not owners, there is a difference! I'm not delusional to think that 95 million people still own the Wii, but its about the fact that Nintendo interested that many buyers in the first place that lightening could strike twice for WiiU. And guy really! The Wii didn't get most of the M rated games this gen because the Wii couldn't run the Unreal Engine. It's as simple as that!

But what part of unfinished or in development do you not seem to understand? I mean how simple does it need to be said for people to get that most of this stuff is probably just place holders for what will be in the final game. People should understand that you can't paint and decorate a house before it's built, so why would one expect that games currently in development will already have the final details in them...
