Well Nintendo said that people will be surprised by the price point that they are aiming for and all of the talk of WiiU being 2005 hardware is just rediculous really... Nothing else to do but exaggerate WiiU specs! Funny how out of the 2005 consoles, this is the only one that can run all next-gen engines! Give it up people
Ouya's not even a real console at this point in time! Sony has been in the game for generations and is a multi-billion dollar corporation. The would be Ouya machine is collecting start-up capital to get things rolling... So they have some millions saved up currently! One holiday marketing push would wipe that budget out completely before they even get started. If this system is ever released, I think it will be geared more towards homebrew, hobbist indie type games but nothing mainstream....
I'm glad you took that personal because you must be one of those people! Anyway, just make sure you come back here to defend all of this bravato about Nintendo's bad decisions. When Microsoft or Sony include some kind of touch screen in their main controller as well. I don't think it will be as large as the WiiU screen, but they will probably do something to bite off Nintendo ;)

I think most people that want the WiiU have played a DS game or two in their lifetime and understand the mechanics of how this will work on a home console. And people that can't multitask just shouldn't be driving, since that's something that you have to do in a car.
I'm sure we will see some Namco characters in SSB, but they just aren't sure yet on which ones... Just as I expect because of this partnership on SSB to see 1 or 2 Nintendo characters in the next Soul Caliber. That game sold amazing on GC with Link being in it!
Because Darksiders2 is the only game that is being released months before the WiiU version. And lets not kid ourselves here the better graphics won't be on the 360&PS3 versions, but that's not why I'm getting them for WiiU in the first place. Ninja Gaiden 3 will be the better version on the WiiU and AC3 already looks amazing using the gamepad for maps, inventory and weapons selections.
The good thing is its coming out for a brand new system(WiiU) which has alot less to compete with this holiday season (gameswise) than the current HD systems. The bad news is that its up against some pretty big titles this season as well! Personally its one of the games I plan on getting with the WiiU at launch so I hope it does sell well. Darksiders2, AC3, ZombiU, Pikmin3, Ninja Gaiden3 and Trine 2 should round out my WiiU equasion until Aliens CM is released...
I love how this generation of consoles is when people determined that graphics now determine what's next-gen and what's not!
I don't know how often most of you go to the movies, but 3d is no longer a fad and is definitely mainstream. When its done right like in Avatar, it even adds that next dimension where its hard to even think of watching it in 2d! Now when someone can actually make the glasses less invasive or glasses free 3d with a wider sweet spot for viewing. Then that will be my guess as to when people will get fully invested in the 3d revolution...

Well Crytek said it themselves that CryEngine3 runs beautiful on WiiU. So with them now stating that they are working with Nintendo, EA is either publishing this game or Nintendo. Just pretty much waiting for the announcement to roll out any day now.

Most Sony and Microsoft fans make it seem as if Nintendo supporters are these rabbid crazed people that are always in attack mode when it comes to Nintendo. When its posts like this that prove a Nintendo supporter can get their point across without stooping to the level of children.
I remember the Wii was like that for sure but some PS3's were still sitting on store shelves @ $600.
We know that Sony has great exclusives this gen, but the generation totally started without them and you are a complete blind idiot if one can not see that. The 3rd party developers controlled this generation of games, hands down... Although Sony's 1st party titles are great, this gen just wouldn't have been the same with the likes of Bioshock, Fallout, Assassins Creed, Skyrim, MassEffect, Borderlands and many other defining 3rd party games this gen.
That's just a waste of a comment bubble! Nintendo has had far more violent games than GTA on their systems and the Wii had some of the more contoversial ones, with MadWorld and Manhunt. Not to mention that not only are they getting the bloodiest and intact version of Ninja Gaiden 3, but they are publishing the game as well...
I don't know if I would put project cars on that list just yet, we really don't know much about that game other than it will look good! I actually think that Madden 13 could be a system seller to the hardcore sports fanatics. I'm not a Madden fan, but with the game going through so many different changes for this version. The RPG level-up style career mode, along with calling plays and drawing plays might be an interesting enough hook for the game to sell wildly on the new system....
Everyone of these city wide WiiU tour experiences that Nintendo's been hosting are successful so far in garnering interest in what WiiU will be about. Just as the Wii did before it, the grass roots word of mouth method will get real everyday people talking about this console. That's why the hype meter went through the roof when the Wii finally went on sale... And to all of these people saying they were burned by the Wii! Nah I think WiiU will sell 15-20mil in its first full year of sales! The Wii sold extremely well and it was $250 and there is nothing new on the market for this holiday season besides WiiU. So it will have being the new kid factor working for it, as well as some major 3rd party games to boot at launch.

@Jetlian: Wii missed the same experience of 3rd party games because it wasn't HD, nothing more nothing less! People now making it into something more than it was, are just reaching. To believe that every Nintendo console that follows will suffer the same scenario is just a fanboy's wishful thinking...
