Beyond does look great on the PS3 hardware, but no one even knows how this will play at all! What they have shown so far of the game play, looks like a series of QTE's more than anything.

Well in the end these companies want to make as much money as possible, so I think they are in a tricky situation right now. Both the 360 and PS3 are selling well and making them money. Your point of view makes no sense at all! WiiU is getting AC3 at launch, so if it was going to end up like this current gen. It wouldn't be getting any of the major multiplat games at all. Of course you know that when the PS4 & 720 are launched, they to will get ports of games already in development for the current systems on the market. And yes The Last of Us looks good for a PS3 game, but the draw distance sucks and all of the Level of Detail usage and camera zooms is to hide graphical limitations the hardware has hit. There's not one picture or video...
Because of the cost of making such high profile HD titles that each company no doubtedly wants to be known for. The margin of era gets smaller with each generation and has been the sole reason we've seen so many developers close shop already. I just don't want to see it end up becoming only 3-4 main publishers that control everything being developed. Then creativity will go down drastically and franchises will be run into the ground in rotation. Gaming needs for the smaller developers...

@Shadow2797: Pikmin 3 looks like it was upgraded from a Wii game, because it was upgraded from a Wii game! This game was in development for quite sometime for that platform and in no way should be the standard for which all WiiU games are judged by.
Yeah its really not wether a game has an M rating on it or not, its more about what originality can the WiiU offer games in a way that simply can't be done out of the box on the other systems. And if you think RE4 was the only good 3rd party must have game on GC, then you need to learn your history!
