Maybe Ubisoft will use the original idea in a slightly different application. But i'm looking forward to ZombiU though, I hope it brings the survival back to horror games.
I agree, people that think next-gen consoles will come close to 4k resolutions are delusional. The next, next-gen consoles might not even be capable of such intense graphics and resolutions. PS4 would be lucky if it's equal to a High end PC of today!

Sony needs to face it that PSVita is facing an uphill battle right now. It has good games and Sony doesn't plan on dropping the price anytime soon. So what are they going to change to make it fly off shelves? I personally don't think that CoD fans will shell out $250+$50 for a portable CoD experience alone.
Saying "Not having a high price" but no "Mediocre specs" is very much a hypocrite statement to say. You can't have it both ways! The next-gen systems can't blow the WiiU away graphically but still be super affordable. You guys want these systems to have top of the line GPU's and CPU's and include massive HDD's while incorporating the next evolution of Bluray and 4gb of RAM as well. I have to agree with you. Unless a head is being split in two people think that games can't be hardcore anymore with having a different art style. So South Park has cartoonish graphics, does that make it for children even though the content is very adult? I don't get peoples argument with this really and hope we get out of the whole obsession with FPS's.
I'm starting to think that most of these companies really just want to sell their graphics engines not games. Because that's all they ever come out and brag on! 720 and PS4 might be comparible to high end PC's of today, might be... But I wouldn't expect anything more than that though.

Despite what you say though, because of games like Re-RE and RE 4 they have brought the franchise back from the dead. Now what they've done since the HD systems have arrived is poor but that in the end is a product of them trying for to much.
To be honest, I would like to see Nintendo reboot the Zelda and Mario series. They could start by reimagining The Legend of Zelda in HD similar to what Capcom did with Re-RE on GameCube(Zelda's art style should never change again after this! I just have one thing to say! All of these articles are coming forth from Iwata now, I wish he would take this time to get me more excited about the WiiU then talk about PS4 & 720. Those systems are vaporware as of right now and don't physically exist
The Wii outsold the PS3&360 for 4 1/2 yrs straight! How do you guys figure it did well and then fell off? No other console in history has sold as many consoles in the short amount of time that the Wii has. And in the face of very stiff competition from Sony and Microsoft. Nintendo generally goes on 5yr cycles, so the Wii doing extremely well for 4 1/2yrs is basically the lifespan of the console.
As long as nintendo mirrors what they are currently doing on the 3ds front, the WiiU will do fine. I've played MK7 online and it works flawlessly without any major hassles.
Good news but a new game in the series would be even better!
