I don't think they are gonna launch on black friday. I think they will launch the Sunday before black friday though! Nintendo likes releasing things on sunday's for some reason...

But that's what happens when people don't like to fact check and just believe everything that they read! 70+ comments later, I really do hope the fans of this kind of media attention take a really good look at themselves in the mirror. Because most of the comments here are baseless and pointless..
He is just trying to keep himself in the news... Nothing he says is funny at all or relevant! The best Bonus Rounds are when he's not on it and they have real guest that talk about the gaming industry and actually play games.
Of course specs matter, but only to the point where it allows Nintendo to offer a very similar experience to it's competitors. Comparing specs down to the last mhz and RAM chip is just pointless. Sony fans would have you believe that the PS3 is twice as powerful than the 360 and while many 1st party games do look better than games on the 360. It's not that drastic of a visual increase though to say it's twice as powerful...
This is the information ages and eveyone feels they have a right to know everything all of the time. We already have confirmation that promotional materials have been shipped to retailers. So why can't people just wait a short while longer for official info? Nintendo still has developers and publishers alike under very strict NDA's, so it must be for a very good reason that they are being so secretive about this system.
So both AC3 & Batman AC are considered simple games now? Because they run at 1080p on WiiU!
Yeah I doubt that! If anything, 1080p will become the locked standard this next-gen. People expecting PS4&720 to output games at 2k & 4k resolutions are just silly really... The HD console generation killed so many very talented development houses because the cost is just to high to make quality games. So What do people think such a dramatic leap in graphics would do for this industry?
Nobody is bragging about WiiU being better than 6yr old hardware. It's just many comments were basically saying that what the developer was saying is pointless, because their game is a 2d side-scroller that's not that graphically demanding and that both PS3 & 360 have had 1080p games already. So I just pointed to a clear fact that shows a more demanding game (AC3) is still running at 1080p on WiiU, that's all!
Whatever anyone does here, please don't put Flo-rida in the same sentence as Lil-wayne. He's not even on Wayne's level...

Now Sony is making this game as a fan service, so I do hope that PS3 owners actually go out and buy it!
That's exactly what I was thinking of... Why do people think if Nintendo suffers and comes in last place that they will be out of the hardware business? They've already been in this spot before! It's Sony that's never had to prove themselves before and come from behind. They have never been in the position that they currently find themselves in.
These WiiU hate articles are just making the system even more popular by all the word of mouth going on. People still honestly believe that WiiU is just on par with PS3, when there are AC3 screens that clearly prove otherwise. Oh well, I know I'll have my system this holiday gunning down Zombies in ZombiU :)
Question, why is it that people are putting so much hope and desire behind WiiU failing? If Nintendo plans on selling this system for a profit day 1. Even if it goes on to sell 25 million systems it will be pretty profitable for Nintendo! I know people love to hate Nintendo, but these articles are trying way to hard in my opinion.
Well unlike most people here at N4G, I started gaming back on the Colecovision and Atari 2600 and not on the PS1! I'm not saying that all of the games I listed were AAA titles in their time, but they are a starting point. And just look at how Ubisoft has reinvented the Zombi series on WiiU, which is kind of what I'm getting at. Nintendo has lots of seeds that they've already planted over many of decades, they just need to water them equally...
Personally I don't think that Nintendo needs to create any new IP's. But what they should be doing is revisiting the ones that they have in their vault that they haven't touched in awhile and bring them to life on WiiU and 3DS. I mean come on, could you imagine games like Mother, Geist, Wrecking Crew, Ice Climber, Devil World, Gyromite, Blast Corps & Baiten Kaitos getting a fresh out look on a system like WiiU. So yes Nintendo has plenty to work with already, just picking whic...
It could make for a cool side quest or even with the asymetric gameplay ideas. Be the basis for a LOZ mutiplayer showdown called "Storm The Castle"... But in any form it could be a cool idea to give people that satisfaction.
It's normally greed that kills business deals like this! The sad thing is that EA could have benefitted from this just as much as Nintendo, because no one knows how popular this thing is going to be this holiday or the next. With the Wii name brand attached its going to instantly get major press simply of how successful the Wii was this generation.
Well I'll post these links again for anyone that missed them, but there's definitely a visual difference between the PS3 & WiiU versions of AC3. The PS3's image is on the left side and were direct feeds of the game. While the WiiU's is on the right and was shot off-screen.

People here are just crazy and read into things at will! The guy is simply stating that there will be parity between all versions... you will get the same experience from every version, even down to the online functionality. Not once did he state that the visuals will be the same for each version. We already know that the PC will be the best looking, but from the screen shot comparisons, The WiiU isn't far behind it, so its just pure dellusion to think that's what he was getting at.
