That's it, i'm writing this console off because i'm not sure if I can charge the gamepad up from USB! WiiU sux and Nintendo sux... Lol
To Some of the people on this site, that's what you sound like about this info! If it can great, if it can't oh well. But that's not a make or break situation of whether or not I buy the system...
As shocking as this was with him choosing to leave the gaming industry in his current capacity! How much would the internets be set ablaze if he was announced as the new design director or some other high position within Retro Studios? With rumors that Retro is busy creating graphics engines for WiiU and that they have shown such work to Epic. Maybe he has seen what they are working on and was really impressed as well! Either way it goes, this is all just speculation right now and I'm sur...
So you are saying that Naughty Dog is lazy then? Because from their own statement they believe they maxed out the PS3 on Uncharted 2 and are basically tweaking things to get what they need from the system. I don't know what everyone is looking at but TLOU does look to be an amazing game, but I don't think it blows UC2 away graphically like most would like to evangelize that it does... UC2 for me will always be the game that made me take notice of the PS3 this gen.

Seeing as how this is primarily a Japanese targeted game, I'm sure the PS3 was the lead platform and they probably wanted to throw the game onto the WiiU in time for launch. Most western developers or developers in general that place the 360 as the lead platform, praise the WiiU in its near effortless ability to get games up and running with ease... Well this article fails on the notion that apparently he stated "When you have a lot of enemies coming at you at once, the performance tends to be affected because of the CPU. when lots of characters fill the screen, because the CPU can't keep up..." That's not a native function of the cpu's job! Now if they had stated the WiiU version had 50 enemies on screen but we had some difficulties getting the animations smooth or Ai or physics, then that would make some sens...
My guess is that the original plan was to include a Power7 based processor in the design. But in keeping the cost down and to keep backward compatibility at a high percentage. They probably had IBM create a multi-core processor using the Broadway CPU as the base design, while adding some of the more modern Power7 functions to the architecture. This would be a explaination as to why the Tekken producer stated the WiiU's CPU's clock rate wasn't as fast as the PS3&360's!
I hate to break it to ya, but this isn't a news site! This site has fan driven content for fans entertainment. The amount of new postings over a re-designed PS3 is proof of that clearly and you can bet that no other legit gaming site is talking about the PS3-SS nearly this much...
Nice try but the WiiU has an HDMI port and comes with a high-speed HDMI cable. If you didn't know this, HDMI carries the digital audio channels as well so there's no need for a seperate optical cable or coaxial cable port on this system. For those that don't have A/V receivers capable of processing both image and sound data through HDMI. The WiiU has the standard Multi-out port, to which the same audio cables from the Wii can be used. Or they may even release a multi-out port vers...
I agree! Gaming is gaming if there is something fun and unique about it... Shocking that today people consider games like Pac-man as a casual game. But in the arcades years ago, there was plenty betting and competition surrounding games like that and Galaga.
People want to know one thing that makes WiiU next-gen? No mandatory installations at all... A Blu-Ray medium equivalent fast enough to stream the games off of the disc!

Once again learn your terminology please! If the WiiU is getting nothing but simple ports, then the PS3 has gotten nothing but simple ports for the last 6yrs... Ports or Multiplatform, you guys can't have it both ways, when both the WiiU and PS3 are getting games that were created on the 360's code base.
I couldn't have said it better myself! People call them ports to diminish the fact that they are coming to the system. When in fact the PS3 enjoys the very same Xbox360 built games, just that those are multiplat when they come out for the PS3 though. But The WiiU is getting nothing but ports people! @PopRocks359: I owned a PS3 as well and plan on buying a PS4 if it's launched at a reasonable price. But I don't get how many fanboys here like to refute great quality in games on Nintendo's systems but then praise a very similar type of game when it comes out for their system of choice.
Here's where alot of you aren't thinking straight about PS4's launch. It will probably take developers a good 2yrs to have launch line up games and Sony's most important studios are still heavily working on AAA PS3 titles. So how does anyone on here realistically think that the PS4 will launch in 2013 with a great line up of games?
