I think where most of this debate goes is into tech specific talks, whereas I'm willing to say most gamers just don't have the knowledge to understand those dynamics. I'm sure most gamers will appreciate the graphical capabilities and extensive gameplay mechanics that can be pulled off with the tech of both systems, but I highly doubt that most gamers will look at both versions of games and from an eye test alone can spot the tech differences between the XO and PS4.
Blacklist is just what we needed in this boring summer of games. Too bad some people play really silly in co-op though, running right at cameras and heavies only to restart the mission.
Although I'm going with X1, this is still a cool feature for Sony users. :)
Maybe true, but what bothers me about PS4 is how their "exclusive" games are fluffed with a lot of indie games that resemble arcade-ish quality.
Lots of people, I gather. Just check the pre-orders.
There was customization for Geralt in The Witcher 2, so no doubt you can customize him in TW3.
I finally purchased it on PSN since the 360 version was delayed and I have to say, it was definitely a waste of $40. I like taking chances on smaller companies and cult type games, this was a fail.
360 version was delayed by a couple of days, and there's an open ended "releasing soon" note for the xbox games on demand version.
Release an incomplete game, no firm release date on consoles, xbox version delayed, xbox digital version even further delayed. Yeah good job...
I was suppose to receive my copy today from Amazon with one day shipping, then woke up to an email saying the delivery has been pushed back for 2 weeks. So I called and they gave me a $30 promotional credit and I cancelled my preorder.
I'll pick this game up used just for the shipping debacle. I got a free $30 though =)
Can't wait to play Payday 2, too bad Amazon didn't have release date delivery though.
Conviction was a great game but extremely short. I understand they wanted to take the series in a different direction but they missed the mark IMO with Conviction. Ubisoft seems to throw a half-assed project out there from time to time is what I'm noticing.
Such a great series turned into a cash cow smh. Before it ends though I'd love to see a feudal japan game and one based entirely in present or future day.
This pirate crap is annoying me, and the fact that a couple weeks after every AC release the game drops to $30. So I for one will no longer preorder an AC game.
I'm burnt out on the series, especially since a couple months after release they drop to $30. I might pick it up then but definitely not on release date.
Wait wait wait, he's crying because gamestop not cutting devs in on the profits of used games, but what about the dlc and specific retailer dlc debacle? It's okay to stiff the consumer on having partial games, but it's not okay to stiff developers out of a lucrative used game market?
Suck it up
release day:
PS4
Killzone Shadow Fall
Call of Duty Ghosts
XBOX ONE
Ryse
NBA 2K14
MADDEN 25
WATCH DOGS
BATTLEFIELD 4
DEAD RISING 3
so i guess it's strictly HDMI next-gen.
good game, but xbox 360 servers have been down all day.
cool game but it's a clone of the deadliest warrior games only exception being no instant kills.
also when playing against someone they can just quit out of the match without consequence.
Sony is starting to sound a lot like Crytek, boasting of their technology and beautiful visuals only to release so-so games.
