Why does it have to be considered hate for someone to speak the truth from what they have experienced? Some will find the game boring and repetitive like they found Destiny, and some will like it.

What trade offs were made for NBA 2k14 which ran at 1080 60fps? I think madden 15 does as well.
Maybe they should've worked with MS I don't know..during development?
let's wait until it's confirmed. a different resolution is one thing, a different framerate, now that's a bigger issue to me.
It's a game I'd come back to every once in a while but I'm kind of done with Destiny. Mordor comes out Tuesday then the following tuesday NBA 2k15. Then in November COD and AC Unity.
If he paid $60 for the game let him have fun with it how he pleases.
They are wasting money releasing a definitive version. I don't get it but hey it's their money to burn so whatever.
The game was cool but it's definitely not worth a rehash.
Xbox will never thrive in the Japanese market. Sure there may be some xbox fans there but it's a legit waste of resources to try to compete with nintendo and sony in their own backyard.
After getting a chance to play BF4 on both the x1 and ps4, I couldn't tell the difference at all. Talk to me when one version of the game is buggier, or has gameplay flaws. If it's solely going to be about resolution then it no longer matters, especially with the move to 4k happening.
Destiny is truly a grind-fest. When i get legendary engrams it's either a mote of light, a strange coin, or some gear that I already had, but nothing legendary at all. I have a couple legendary cloaks, and a legendary helmet the rest are blue items.
I've got a little over 40 hours into this game and i'm pretty burnt out on it. The crucible is fun but the rest has grown stale.

the next installment of call of duty was suppose to be more like an adventure game. I definitely remember Activision saying that before. So advanced warfare did kind of come out of nowhere.
i remember they had sketches for a comic with an assassin in Egypt. That would be epic too, but it would push the timeline back to Altair days.
That's the beautiful thing about the series, there's so many options.
I actually agree with you. I was sorely hoping this years AC would take us to either Japan or China, and I was disappointed when I found it was the french revolution. But the more info that came out about this game the more I got excited about the possibilities.
I can't wait for this release.

you're absolutely correct. had destiny dropped at the same time as Halo MCC or COD AW, or any other anticipated title, it would have suffered a massive failure.
2014 has been a horrible year of gaming so far.
For a game hyped as much as destiny, it just doesn't deliver. It has great mechanics, but the richness of a story isn't there, pvp is a nightmare at times, communicating is even more of a hassle, and there's not much in the way of rewarding leveling.
Destiny is the prototype for what grind gaming is. And if you go into it seeing it as such, you'll enjoy it a lot better.
After the beta I completely lost interest, but decided to pick it up anyw...
skyrim wasn't the biggest disappointment in gaming to date for me. After beating the dragon absolutely nothing happens. No rewarding cutscene, nothing. The combat was outdated and clumsy, and the graphics were ok for last gen, but not the best i've seen last gen. That game was just flat out horrible.
if Xbox live had this kind of frequent failure Sony fans would be having a field day.
It sucks paying for these services to play online but at least MS really invested in security and infrastructure. Sony has a long way to go on that end, maybe it will happen late in the PS4 life, but until then I feel sorry for you guys.
