Right usually companies delay games months in advance, for them to cancel it a few weeks before launch is flat out ridiculous.
I don't think the delay is about the game being broken, but more so what's the best time to get more revenue. GTA V just released, and next month both new consoles release with the monster of COD. There's just not enough room for a plausible release.
Of course UBI will back ACIV over Watch_Dogs. It sucks though considering I was really looking forward to it, but now I'll just cancel that preorder, and pick up a used copy when it releases next year as my own l...
yes, you need the right software tools.
while KZ:SF mp will run "mostly" at 60fps the single player campaign only runs at 30fps
all the power in the ps3 though, but what happened? (not flaming)
no game harnessed that power. to be the best looking and playing game on ps3 was TLOU, and even that had texture and aliasing issues.
I think people are getting too wrapped up in the specs, but that's just my opinion. =]
I guess there will be no need for future iterations of the Playstation..
I don't get how they were so unprepared. Did they think the game wouldn't sell well or something? Lol come on, it's GTA, the only game that pretty much competes or destroys COD as far as sales.
At least they have a fix coming though.
I keep wanting to give this game a shot at launch, but seems like every other week there's something else wrong with it. I should know better considering it's Crytek, all they care about is how a game looks.
Xbox owners didn't demand the kinect, Microsoft just built the X1 with Kinect functionality in mind. I wanted to grab a kinect for 360 but didn't feel like shelling out the extra dough so late in the console life.
Now that the X1 is bundled with the new Kinect I don't mind it. November 15 & 22 can't come fast enough. I'm ready to see the next evolution of gaming.
I don't understand the tech talk, so all I can go off is history. The PS3 was supposed to be the vastly superior machine, and for all intents and purposes, it didn't deliver. The 360 was the easier machine to design around, now both the PS4 and X1 are saying how easy their new consoles can be optimized with developers. So we as gamers win regardless.
Who cares if the raw power says the PS4 can give us a couple more wrinkles on a skin texture. All of the tech is theore...
MS gauged it's audience entirely wrong, sure it's cool watching NETFLIX etc. on the 360 but they lost focus that their machine should be focused on gaming. I'm not sure how the tech specifics goes exactly into what, all I care about is the games at the end of the day. That's why I'm going with the Xbox One, also considering my brother is getting the PS4.
It's cool to spew specs out there but I firmly believe that most people are just quoting the numbe...
and again it's a PC build, why is DICE and EA hiding the console versions?
Ryse is just a cool exclusive to launch a console with. Undoubtedly after a playthrough it will end up in a box collecting dust or traded in, but it's a great first impression.
And I've had the opportunity to play the GoW series, I don't understand how Ryse and GoW are being compared.
I thought it was 50%? Either way I still doubt it, considering we don't know everything about the tech in the X1. However, most of us couldn't care less :), just bring on the games.
The Last of Us looked amazing but multiplats hands down looked better on 360.
The game looks great but all I see is standard fare for FPS.
Major Nelson is a PR guy, that's the problem.
So the use of a controller is enough cause to blame the console for third party software not delivering?
Why are we blaming MS for EA / DICE attempting to deceive us? EA / DICE made all these grand claims of what BF4 will be on next-gen consoles and so far they haven't delivered at all, and we're a few months away from launch? They played the same shenanigan's with BF3.
UBI didn't want to have Watch_Dogs surrounded by so much competition. That's what it seems like to me. And instead of being confident in their new IP, they decided to put it on ice in favor of the more well known ACIV.
I think they greatly erred with this though, a lot of AC fans that have been around from the beginning are burnt out on the series. Watch_Dogs was a burst of fresh air.
