At launch I expected some nonsense from multi-plat releases. While this is disappointing and definitely makes me think about skipping COD again this year, I know that getting a new console is an investment for it's future.

It's not like games will never achieve 1080p / 60fps on X1. If anything all this is showing me is that the multi-gen launch releases are nothing but money grabs.

I'll stick with Ryse at launch and wait for spring for some cool...

i hope people aren't taking these reviews serious.

lol, how some will actually behave.

I'm getting the X1 but you fail to realize that your statement isn't entirely factual but based in your opinions.

It's like PS4 people bragging about 50% more power meaning huge disparity in multi-plat games. They can't say that factually even though the specs may tend to show that on paper. However, we don't even have the consoles yet and devs are just scratching the surface of both consoles.

In the end, whatever you like is what you lik...

exactly @HardcoreGamer

I don't mind that fact though.

BF4 isn't truly a next-gen experience, whereas KZSF is.

I enjoy SP, it's a way to introduce the player to the game mechanics and get involved in that world. So I agree with you @OllieBoy

And there's a problem that Titanfall is strictly online? At least the story is tied into the multiplayer, but this is a shame that some will buy a full priced game and get shortchanged like this.

I don't think the X1 will be that invasive though. It's being made to seem like the kinect is the ultimate government spy tool, when it's a fact that you don't even have to plug the thing up, plus you can control privacy settings.

I guess we shall see come 11/22

As someone that has been counting down the days until the xbox one release, this just flat out sucks. Weak launch line up to begin with, then the only 2 real powerhouses are lackluster compared to the offering on the PS4. IF THE RUMORS ARE TRUE.

I know consoles are an investment into the future but man talk about a launch day letdown.

social media, phone calls, e-mails. i guess people haven't been following the news about the NSA.

The article brings up a point that most of us are definitely overlooking: The massive size of the games compared to the 500 gb hard drive. Now PS4 buyers need not worry, from what I understand you guys can switch out the hard drive, but for those of us getting and Xbox One...this should raise a huge red flag.

Thankfully we still have retail discs to purchase because if 40gb for 1 game is a normal standard, we'll be out of storage space quick with no way to upgrade the har...

with games being this massive, the standard 500 gb hard drive for both the X1 and PS4 isn't enough.

It's not like the PS4 is strictly a gaming machine. They will still have netflix, hulu, etc. So because X1 can actually be a pass through for your cable services it's looked at as a negative?

I agree with the premise though that MS isn't focusing like they should on games. End of the day games is what matters to me and I'm still getting an X1 on day 1. But the extra features is a plus in my book.

MS needs to keep titanfall as an exclusive. PS has Killzone and Shadow Fall looks truly epic, to my knowledge MS doesn't have that first person shooter exclusive that it needs to push a console.

The problem with AC MP is that it's too slow and methodical, sure the cat and mouse aspect is pretty neat, but it gets boring.

All DLC does is prove to developers that they can get more money out of the consumer. $80 - $100 a game doesn't seem farfetched the way we as consumers keep buying DLC.

aren't servers turned off by the developer rather than microsoft?

exactly as I thought, money grab. too bad they exchanged one crowded window for another.
