I played this on a vita yesterday. I was surprised by how good it was. you really do have to play it, to understand how it differs from smash bros.
True, but you can actually see all the things they are overhauling.
The thing that has me still keeping an eye on this game, is the fact that they don't have to do any of the things they're doing. They don't to do the single player overhaul they're doing, the multiplayer re-structralizing, and they really don't need to make an open world zombie game. I mean, shoutcasting? and they easy of that shoutcasting. If it's one thing you could commend them on, it's raw ambition.
It's one of the reason I've decided t...
If it's any consultation. This dude also gave MW3 a 9.5.
He says the multiplayer is great, spec ops is good, and the single player has great moments. And it all equates to a 5.5?
This review feels like it's half done.
This is a man that called Deus Ex bad.
I have no words.
This sounds super crazy.
Like really, really crazy.
Broussard was out of place, completely as a public figure. I believe the EGM review basically dismissed Halo 4 because it wasn't CODified and I have to question that score, when this same reviewer claims Dishonored actually had an involving narrative (that's a joke, especially when he claims Chief's silent protagonist style was outdated and Corvo NEVER SPEAKS). But to call him retarded is out of place.
Not really. There has always been a sort of allusion to romance between Chief and Cortana, so I don't see why you're up in arms.
I am very intrested in seeing how allstars shakes out. Something about it right now, hasn't gelled with me for some reason. But Lpbk, come on dude. It looks fun, but it's hardly a stand in.
At least this review feels justified. I can respect it. I hope this is a continuing trend. Halo 4 looks amazing, and probably and based on most reviews, people are taking a much more grounded approach. Stepping back from sounding like a pr article. I expect the same for Black Ops 2, New Super Mario Bros Wii U, and any other big game this year.
I just don't think people should expect them to flip the formula on its head. Well, personally I was never expecting them to. This too much of a sacred cow, for 343 to just up and alienate all the loyal fans. Halo 5 should be a different story
Very excited for Tuesday though
I have yet to play it.
I respect a reviewer's opinion...within reason.
But this review comes off as bitter and a little egotistic. The way he just dismisses things with a thick indifference just comes off as a snobby. Then he basically summarizes the multiplayer as ''there, and cheap'', which is after saying he never even understood or got why halo's multiplayer is so respected.
IT sounds like he was expected the game...
At least their being honest. I still feel Uncharted 3 and Arkham City both got away with being big names.
Some of the lower reviews I've seen have said Halo 4 plays it too close to the original trilogy in spots. I think that's a valid criticism, but at the same time, that's a smart thing to do, especially when you know your fanbase.
I haven't played it yet so I'll reserve judgement, but to me, it seems wise to ease the transition form bungie to 343 and not totally flip it on its head. I feel like some reviewers are expecting it to not be halo and I think they...
DLC?
The game isn't even out yet, Capcom.
It's over two months away. Do you even know if people want more of it?
Damn, you need to stop thinking with pocketbooks and calculators for a second.
Damn sony, you really left this one out to the wolves. There's been like no marketing. That is the reason starhawk didn't sell well or countless others. Sony needs to get behind all their projects in some meaningful capacity. Not just Uncharted, God of War and Grand Turismo. It's no secret that sony has good first party titles, but marketing is a whole other issue for them.
EDIT: Btw the way lbpk looks fun.
Wow, this video really didn't help me choose.
Have you played it?
