Man it's actually been a decade?
Crazy.
No, it's because fanbacklash has been comically insane. I mean death threats? Someone's gotta be rational, and so far it hasn't been a majority of DMC fans.
COD maps aren't even maps, they're just kill boxes. Even when I loved COD, I always felt that they felt like stages. The lack of traversal strategies and strategic landmarks in COD make the maps dull.
He's so irrelevant, No one even cares if he's rolling.
You're talking s***
:)
(But seriously, mario kart is better)
Hopefully Far Cry 3 delivers. The idea of directly making the main narrative guided, and the open world open is potentially genius. but it could fail, but I hope it wont.
Far Cry 3?
This is a long one so skip it if it sounds pretentious, just wanna share my opnion is all.
IMO,COD just isn't meant to evolve. It's become part of Activision's "work til you die" mantra that has grinded out some of the most significant franchises of the last 15 years, tony Hawk and Guitar Hero. I think corporate greed has forever infiltrated the way COD is designed. Halo on the other hand will continue to grow because it's a more mechanically nuanced...
Meh, I have Halo 4. Black Ops 1 was when I decided I was done with COD (As much as I loved MW1). Far Cry 3 is the only other shooter I want this year. I think FC3 just looks like a breath of fresh from the military shooter saturation as of late.
Damn.
*Back to infinity slayer*
The problem with the WiiU launch is, so much of it is well-worn ground. AC3? Already out. ME3? I finished the trilogy 8 months ago. Arkham City? Come on Now. All the intresting WiiU titles like Rayman Legends, wonderful 101, and pikimin 3 are all "launch window" ( which is a bs term anyway nowadays). Looking at a wiiu sizzle reel, just gives me this feeling of staleness.
FC 3 is definely a dark horse in 2012. I might have to get this game, I always wanted to play far cry 2 but didn't.
IMO, Regicide is better anyway.
If you we're expecting a Halo game. then it's probably one of the best in the series.
If you were expecting something else, you should have known better. Halo 4 is part of a larger narrative of a new studio who has been given the keys to one of the biggest franchises in any media, with a community as venomous and stubborn as a barrel of kobra's in a bull parade.
I would compare Halo 4 to Street Fighter IV, it keeps the core intact but makes wise i...
I pretty much agree with this article. Tbh, that's the one thing that's made me a little sad about Halo 4. They had a system, that was really pure. You win, you level up. You lose you don't. Halo 3 was much like Super Street Fighter IV for me and I play those games still. It's another reason why I play gears. I am atleast hap that Halo 4 is using a different take on progression, but it just rather have none.
When is the last time you've looked at KZ2? Halo 4 looks better.
nope.
Lately, I've been feeling that N4G's median score is usually spot on. People should just use it instead of metacritic.
And the delays begin.
@jinkies
I never said all.
