That's not even clever.
Intresting.
I enjoyed the demo. More than I thought I would. I may pick it up.
360 multiplayer climate has at least 3 other shooters eating BF3s pie ( Halo 4, Gears 3 and COD) so this isn't that surprising to me.
The last thrid of FC3 is really bad. I was sure this was in my top 3 games of 2012 before I finished it, but damn I just don't love it as much. Great game though, 2012 has been a strange year. Almost no one could wrap up their stories decently. The only games that I played this year that managed to wrap up their stories well, were walking dead and hotline miami.
Hotline Miami isn't on that list, but american nightmare is?
I see.
XCOM is easily in my top 3 games of 2012.
I think Hotline Miami maybe my game of they year.
Here's the thing, I feel like a lot of people are looking the wrong places. 2012 was a great your for gaming because it was the year of the download. Games like Walking Dead, Journey, Hotline Miami, Fez etc., where all cheaper and more novel than most $60 games tihs year. Then you have free-to-play coming to make most $60 games look foolish. The big publishers were the wrong place to look for what makes 2012 good. If you're looking there, you're looking in the wrong places.
I think Vaas was a better villian.
Teo general rules of thumb:
The japanese title and boxart of games are usually far better than the american or european titles or boxarts.
They aren't even the same reviewer. And the reviewer of All-Stars really likes the game. A lot.
Rad is one of my favourite words. And I like a lot of Far Cry 3's characters. I'm not really asking anyone to agree with me, just wanted to give my opnion. FC3 is one of the best games of 2012.
There are definitely racist undertones, and it's not that hard to see if you have any concept of social consciousness. But I don't think it was intentional, in a lot of ways it feels like they were trying to subvert racist archetypes, and in some ways they succeeded and failed in others. But Far Cry 3 has some super rad characters and a great open world, and that's good enough for me to give them a pass for trying their hand at some narritive stuff that is a bit muddy. Still makin...
I listen to podcast beyond (which the reviewer is on), and I based on what he's said on there, I can't help but feel he has it out for this game because he thinks it's unceremonious. He states SFxMM has excpectations because of the name, and it should still be held accountable to those standards. I think that's BS, because it's a fanmade passion project not and that should have adjusted expectations as a result. And too short, was actually a complaint. What? It's free!...
just don't have any faith in EA anymore. All the've done for me in the past 2 years is ruin my favourite games. ME3 got EA'd to death, dragon age got ea'd to death, and dead space 3 seems to be everything I don't want from a dead space game. I hope it works out, but if past is prologue, I will probably let down again.
Agreed.
I'm actually from Toronto, and to be honest something of this magnitude just doesn't happen here. WE had a really bad shooting in a july, but it was gang related. Actually are gun laws and the procedures for handling situations exactly like this one are a little more vigilant.
Well,it's not like they can blame gun laws. Those aren't the problem, clearly mass effect is the trouble.
I;m looking forward to this game. There's a lot of hate surrounding it, and some people have been won over, but at the end of the day I hope it's good. I mean if you don't like it, that's fine. Some people are never gonna give it a chance, that's also fine. However, I don't understand the notion that some people are saying this isn't a DMC game at all. That's a bit silly. I mean, that's like saying Alice in Chains isn't Alice in Chains because Layne Sta...
