It's a good game.
But it's not totally clicking with me the way I thought it would.
That makes me a little sad, because I really want to love it and I only like.
I should have got xcom.
My 3 thus far.
1.Walking Dead
2.Dishonored
3.Fez
Some reviews are saying is 6 hours.
I've spent at least 4 1/2 hours in the first 2 missions.
I wish I was playing now.
IMO, Nowgamer's idea of getting people different people to review different versions of the same game is sort of stupid.
Well, I'm gonna just wait and hopefully play episode 4 and hopefully ep.5 in december back to back. This week is just not the week to release it imo.
What about Need For Speed, Halo 4, Dishonored, XCOM, and even earlier games in the year like journey?
The difference with halo, is that bungie didn't have their hearts in it anymore. You could even see with reach that was the case. that's the case where new blood was needed. I see the doctors leaving much like Mikami leaving capcom
I agree with something I heard on the bombcast this week. And that is RE6s qualitative failure is part of a grander narrative about capcom; most of their talent is gone. Kenji Inafune, gone. Shinji Mikami, gone. Disc-locked content, clumsy implementation of game systems. The company just seems lost.
There trying to justify their purchase.
Lol
The 4 hours thing isn't official word, not even from reviewers. Some random people who got it early are basically burning through it. there are streams out there. I personally think that is a very misleading thing to include in this story. Also, notice how they don't really point to a source.
under 4 hours? Hmm. I'm not sure how I feel about that. But then again. What is the context of those 4-hour playthroughs? Did they have a guide? what difficulty was it on? did they cut npc quests off (it is possible to miss quests altogether and I have seen that).
EDIT:
From what I've gathered on some forums, people were doing streams and basically speed-running it on low difficulties.
This is now my cue to stay out of pending because spoilers are sure to follow now.
Goddamn it dishonored.
Don't fail me, like AC1 did.
I have been trying to manage my expectations, but Dunwall (as a game world) looks amazing. Game worlds and their immersion are supper important to me, mostly because they can give cohesion to a game and make it greater than the sum of its parts.
You and me both dude.
So much potential, but then again so did AC1 back in 2007. And that burned me, because I disregarded the actual content of the criticisms against it.
Never again.
So.
Dishonored, XCOM, Pokemon Black& White 2, Fable: The Journey, Retro City Rampage.
Best release week of the year.
Great preview.
Looking forward too it.
I smell wii-u cash grab.
I didn't enjoy my time with RE6 but metacritic user scores are a total joke. I don't know why that site even has them. It's just a bunch of knee-jerking, man babies crying. I think they should really just get rid of it.
But RE6 man, what happened capcom? You were supposed to make up for raccoon city. Seriously big-name japanese gaming is largely in the toilet. It's companies like platinum, atlus, from software, (and nintendo) that are even keeping the spirit a...
I actually returned my dishonored, to get xcom.
