I just finished paying off my pre-order so this just adds to the hype for me.
The best thing square has done since the ends with you...was buying eidos. That is the only thing that gives them any kind of gamer credit nowadays. Their Japanese development team is just a flatout joke. It's almost alarming how far pride and arrogance can take you.

Why are people so shocked?
We knew there was gonna be dlc for borderlands 2, gearbox has said as much.
So you can buy it separately, at a discount with the seasons pass, or not at all.I just don't understand why people are acting like they are getting sold an incomplete game now. Borderlands has some off the most successful dlc this gen, of course the sequel would have dlc. I don't really care for dlc, but that's just logically leveraging past pedigree.

If this as ms-fanboyish it would have never seen the light of approval. There's just no denying the overwhelming sony bias on this site. This article is poor.
That title is oversimplifying, took randy's response totally out of context. Randy denied the fact that the best friend tree was actually called the girlfriend mode. Internet oversimplification is one of the main reasons internet activism doesn't work well.

I think it was a sexist comment to make when taken at face value. But taken in the entire context of his explanation, I don't think it has malicious intent. His explanation of Best friend's skill tree (which isn't actually named the girlfriend mode):

Tbh, I don't think simply new graphics are gonna make everyone jump ship immediately like crytek and epic they will. Games right now look incredible and I personally don't think we will see a ps2-ps3, xbox-xbox 360 leap next time around. Especially with the cost of development ballooning as it is.
I just hope it does well.
I liked Darksiders I and I was gonna get II, but something came up and the money I was gonna use to get the sequel was needed elsewhere. I'll get it eventually, just hope THQ stays a float, because they are one of the few publishers pushing out stuff that isn't just a military shooter, or rife with current gen conventions.
This is what I was hoping wouldn't happen. Well personally, I was hoping for a summer release because the back half of 2012 is gonna start ramping up next week. I mean it's out just about the same week as borderlands 2. Hell yeah wrath of the rabbit is out in october, which is a total no fly zone.
