It's not breaking ground, but it's multiplayer looks solid. The single player is the real star from the looks of it though.
I like Jim Sterling's reviews. I don't always agree, but he is pretty distinct. People are still hurting over that ACII review, and really who cares?
It's more mechanically nuanced. I love smash bros, but it's pretty simplistic in comparison. I still prefer smash bros when all is said and done.
Dat storm rifle.
Anyone with a skin could tell you it has.
It's a better fighter mechanically then Smash Bros is. It's just some of the roster choices and a general feeling of sterility that hold it back. If I had a PS3, I would still buy it, based on my experience with it.
@G20WLY
Are you talking to me?
That's a problem imo. Like Sony has so many damn characters. Why on earth would the chose some of the characters they did? Why a big daddy, Raiden or even the new dante? Why both Coles? I think they missed an opportunity to dig into a war chest of mascots. It would have given the game more personality, and I could definitely feel that it needed more of that while I was playing.
Well, it's not the same reviewer. It's not like tom chic who gave halo 4 a 1, and then gave black ops 2 a four. Different writers at ign.
I'm happy this game turned out well. I liked what I played of it. they should getr weirder with the characters next time though. Like, throw captain blasto in there or something.
Damn, Jim really rips into this one. Based on what I have seen and now played, I agree with a lot of his points.
Banjo Nuts and Bolts.
If you were coming to this game for the multiplayer, you prioritized poorly.
I agree with not being blown away. I got dishonored and didn't feel the magic everyone else did. IT was decent, but felt shallow considering how deus ex every said it was going to be. XCOM, for all its bugs, it probably my game of the year.
Agreed. But I decided to forgo hitman for far cry 3. Hopefully I made the right choice.
I'm sorry but the review reaks of someone justifying their purchase to the point of delusion. Your opinion is yours, but it sounds very skewed.
Lol.
Non sequitur thy name is kaos.
Potential dark horse game of the year right here.
Thank you for all your work, Miyamoto.
This game is gonna be a dark horse this year, I'm saying.
The wait just got longer.
