i really like the possibilities that can come from, what is essentially, a more advanced form of a ds. everything so far has looked overwhelmingly awesome, which isnt much as of yet. i will be a day 1 consumer of the wii u. the more i hear about the console the more im intrigued as to how games will function. nintendo does a great job of creating unique experiences and i cant wait to see more titles in action.
i was wondering why pikmin 3 had gone silent for a while. pikmin 3 on the wii u will be amazing.
im not trying to defend nintendo but did sony announce any new IPS? or did all they show were even more sequels and spin offs?
in all fairness though nintendo never really left, they have had great success and great games, even if the line up is few and far between. i think the wii U can definitely get up to speed and become something great. i highly doubt they will be able to reach the monetary success of wii but give it time, it has great potential
remote play isn't necessarily the defining feature of wii U so i dont see the comparison between ps3 and nintendo. similar features to some extent, yes, but 2 totally different approaches.
not sure but regardless when does nintendo ever follow the "norm?" they always take their own approach but blu ray or not 25 gigs is plenty of space so thats great news.
overall though im sure they want to try and combat piracy in some small way. im unsure if it will help all that much but at least they are doing something in a sense.
hahahaha yah, thats probably the most defining feature for me.
it looks great. im glad nintendo is finally getting up to speed. i really like that the controller can add extra functionality for games such as menus and what not instead of pausing and viewing items, maps, weapons, etc...i expect it to be a lot smoother viewing those features straight from the controller without having to break the immersion or flow of the game. i could definitely see some cool integration being worked into the controller and game as time goes on. im excited to see the prog...
current consoles can do 1080p but 9 out of ten times the output is 720 or under. i mean what more can nintendo do? 83409285094854209p? its nothing special but its how ninentdo should have done things to begin with when the wii was introduced. its good to hear they are finally getting up to speed. so in essence its very good, nothing special as it shouldn't be, but still great news.
prototype 2 has the potential to be something great. hopefully the execution doesn't fall through as im looking forward to this one.
this game looks real good and expensive
same here. there have been a lot of complaints over this game due to 13 lacking any true final fantasy mechanics but im hoping they fix those issues and return more to the roots of a great final fantasy game.
i liked 13. it was mediocre to me in the scope of the final fantasy series but i still enjoyed it and would recommend it to others. yet they have a chance right all the wrongs and hopefully they dont let me down.
looks pretty cool so far. i liked the first game so ill end up playing this at some point. im interested in seeing more.
i think you mean that the story is bad. the actual game itself was not. im not the one who hit disagree but overall its still a core metroid game at its roots.
horrible characterization
great game
it really wasn't "that" bad. the characterization of samus was horrid but the actual game was not. long time fans automatically hated the game due to the way she was portrayed. yet, at its core, it was still an action packed, exploration heavy metroid game that was a blast to play from start to finish.
if you're already debating the issue id recommend you pick up the game. if you go into the game knowing it wont be a triple a, huge budget, perfect 10, amazing game then you will enjoy it. its not necessarily a bad game just poorly executed in certain aspects but i still found it decent. its fairly cheap now and its a pretty entertaining game that fell a little short of the mark.
i wont hit the disagree button but i will respectively disagree. For me i think the quality is at an all time high for nintendo. They have put together some great games that i never would have imagined for wii. galaxy series, metroid prime trilogy, sin and punishment, kirbys epic yarn and so on. i wish they would stay on a roll and regularly release games but they dont.
even nintendos quality on the ds is immense. just my opinion though.
throw in boardwalk and you've got yourself a deal.
if you already have the games then your out of luck. enjoy your free month of ps+ and whatever else they offer on top. its not like you paid to play your games online to begin with. so basically your being compensated for nothing and if the compensation doesn't suit you then move along, go play online and get over it. i hate to sound harsh but there has been a great deal of people whining over the issue.
actually im pretty sure we'll see mw3 on wii. it wont be the exact same game obviously but i wouldn't rule it out. they'll probably put together a ds game as well or 3ds game.
well honestly i think it would have been a mistake to add multiplayer to this game. it could have worked but they definitely made the right choice. i would rather have a long, enjoyable, epic single player game similar to monster hunter.
