What did anyone expect? This game should have been held back for the Switch 2 launch, now that would make sense, get a better reception and eventually sell more copies.
Wish my local library had games for rent too.
What? How do you accidentally release a game? Did someone's cat jump on the digital store manager's keyboard?
Instead of "microtransactions" shouldn't we be referring to them as "megatransactions" at this point?
Old Ubisoft was amazing. Modern Ubisoft I mostly ignore these days. It's a shame because they have so much potential.
I like the vibe going on here, but "open-world survival craft game" is not my thing. It simply translates to wasting hours of your life doing repetitive filler content to artificially extend the length of the game performing mundane tasks. Alas, so close!
Ugh, Konami just whoring out their IP characters to anyone these days.
The game was announced much too early, but also people were hounding Ubisoft about Splinter Cell for years, so they wanted placate them by making the announcement.
It's normal for games to "go dark", no reason to worry about it. In our age of social media and glut of releases everyone has to turn everything into a big deal if they don't get what they want immediately. Just be patient and let them develop the game.
And let's hope they...
A scroll wheel could be interesting, though typically in menus pressing left or right will move your cursor 10 spaces up or down.
And where could it be placed on the controller? Hmm.
We don't know that for sure, 41 year old game tapes on the Spectrum still work to this day. No one knows how long blu-rays will last.
Furthermore, your own physical media is easier to back up onto a hard drive, and from an old hard drive to newer hard drives as the decades wear on.
I've never even heard of this game until today. Is it really that good of a game, or just a bunch of hot air?
That's because Sony and Nintendo won't let them. Obviously.
I hate how digital rights are handled, and hope physical media doesn't go away (at least in my life time). Fortunately I know better than to purchase TV shows and movies digitally.
Drop it another $100, and I'll bite for backwards compatibility.
The fact that $50 is the lowest option on the list. 💀 Blizzard is such an embarrassment. 🫠
How dare someone make a game about the story of my life without my permission!
Wow that sounds atrocious. Why do people even support scummy companies like 2K anymore?
I don't think it'll be the next Vita, and I say this as a person who owns 4 Vitas and 3 PS TVs and love them!
PSVR 1 is flooded with games, in fact I've been going back and buying lots of new PSVR 1 games recently during the Black Friday sale last week!
Its true that PSVR 2 has had a slow start, and yes Sony should drive a dump truck full of cash to Gabe Newell and have Valve port Half-Life Alex to PSVR 2. Get your butts in gear Sony, make it happen!
...
That guy is a buffoon, DF Direct is the best gaming podcast around. I look forward to it every week.
Some people believe they are biased against Microsoft, others believe they are biased against Sony. The reality is that they're not biased at all, they may have differing opinions than you or I, and that's fine.
There's been multiple times when I've disagreed with the DF crew, but they're allowed their takes just like we're allowed ours.
