Why are Cyber Monday deals being posted 3 days late?
This is awesome news. Happy to hear it, and hope it doesn't stop.
Indeed, imagine being a good employee, then losing your job because the executives screw things up while also paying themselves yearly bonuses.
Disgusting.
A dud console with a stupidly designed controller, and only a small smattering of worthwhile games, with no Japanese support, using carts when the industry was moving to optical media (except Nintendo of course!), never had the chance to be the next big thing in gaming.
Chris, since BGFG employees aren't eligible, but they still appear in the top 100 listing, does this mean people in spots 101, 102, etc. are included in the drawing? Or will it only be the top 99, or 98, etc. people that are actually on the list which are eligible for the drawing?
Hope my question made sense.
Absolutely this! Over the past decade games have been released increasingly buggy and unfinished. If companies want to increase the price then they also must increase the Quality Assurance period to make sure games are released in a completed state.
Otherwise no sale. Stop pre-ordering games, and stop supporting companies releasing unfinished games.
One thing I like about N4G is that you can learn about some indie games that are likely going to fly under the radar. This would probably be a fun game to play with my family, so thanks for sharing it.
Holidays are usually jammed, when do you think they should have held back its release date? The CEO stated that he expects Sonic sales to pick up during November and December, and he comes across as overall optimistic about its sales potential.
I'm just happy to see them leave behind last gen finally. That means the devs can be much more ambitious with the game.
Would be nice if they worked on a new series that didn't revolve around gun play. Something fresh and different.
I don't want to see anymore CGI trailers, just real gameplay. Anything else will be a disappointment.
I've been saying this for so long, micro-trash-actions were designed to indoctrinate younger gamers who easier are to manipulate.
Even if older gamers are against micro-trash-actions, we're going die eventually and the only gamers left will be those who grew up in this era where they have been normalized from the start. This was all planned in advance for long term profits.
Another Remaster is a better idea than the vaporware sequel.
The executives make obviously terrible decisions, then their profits drop, and it's the work force that suffers because of it.
It was an okay game, it could have looked better on Switch, and the final boss (not referring to the Super boss) really hurt the game and brought it down for me. Even as a Sonic veteran since 1991 this boss was too hard because of the spinning attack at the end, which is extremely difficult to dodge. What a pain.
Microsoft, if you want my money, have Vicarious Visions and ex-NeverSoft developers work on a new Tony Hawk's Pro Skater game, and make it multi-platform on XBS / PC / PS5. No remake or remaster, a NEW game, that's it. That's how you can get my money.
I have no interest in the Amico, but I always visit the Intellivision Amico subreddit just to read the shady things this company did. Its actually equally both fascinating and revolting that this company squandered 17 million dollars and produced jack squat!
I also highly recommend watching the "OOF" YouTube video from hbomberguy, he went down an insane rabbit hole of Tommy Tallerico's lies and deceit. Its a very long video, but its not boring, and has 8.7 mil...
While EA is a trash-tier publisher, the real joke is on the dummies that keep buying their yearly roster updates. It's okay not to buy them every year, and support a terrible company in the process, I promise.
It's embarrassing when fan modders do a better job (working for free!) than the actual multi-million dollar publishers.
This has been happening a lot in the industry. Companies are cutting corners, and hoping we don't notice or care. They want us to repeatedly buy the same games over again, and each time at slightly lower quality.
Terrible practices, not just from Konami, but all around.
Do we NEED them? Of course not! However, business-wise, The Last of Us TV show was a huge success, this is why Part 1 got remade, and why Part 2 is getting a remaster, its the smart business choice to make. Even if it makes other people unhappy, which I can understand.
At least Part 2 remaster is adding new gaming content, whereas Part 1 remake didn't add anything new to the gameplay, and instead lost its multi-player mode. If you don't like these remakes and remast...
