He's wrong, Nintendo will not be abandoning physical media for decades.
Sony, I don't think they'll be abandoning it either, its another feather in their cap over Microsoft who can't wait to ditch game discs. Sony also has a vested interest in keep Blu-ray media alive for as long as possible.
More environment interaction, and some parkour elements, that's what I wanted to see. Artistic style is different, but not necessarily bad.
Looking forward to seeing more.
This list is missing Fin.K.L's appearance in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2.

@yeahokaywhatever, that's a good point I won't deny, we'll never really know what would happen exactly, but its safe to assume that things would have been easier for Sony in the early years if they launched simultaneously.
The headstart was vital, but also still bit them in the ass. It goes both ways.
They were desperate to undercut Sony in price, but they don't understand that people want good games more than they want cheap consoles.
This reminds me of 2005 when MS shipped the 360 too early before the hardware was fully tested and ready to be sold. Thus we ran into a severe RROD issue. They were desperate to ship a year before Sony and it bit them in the ass.
MS is their own worst enemy, and they don't even realize it, don't be surprised ...
According to the trailer, its not on Xbox. So he's either joking or an ignorant fool.
Always has.
"on a budget" and "next generation gaming" don't go together. If you can't afford a PS5 (staring at $400 USD), a Series X (starting at $500 USD), or a modern PC, then don't worry about next gen gaming, play on older systems. PS3, PS4, PS4 Pro, 360, XBO, XBOX, NSW, you have plenty of options.
Or just save up your money, you don't need gaming immediately, its a luxury.
Pointless question. It never made sense. All MS needed to do was release the Series X without a disc drive and charge $100 less.
The whole idea behind "cheaper entry into buying next gen consoles" was always stupid. It reminds me of what Sega tried to do releasing both the 32x and Sega Saturn in 1994, hurting themselves in the end. MS hasn't learned from the mistakes of the past, thus the situation they are in now.
Astro Bot needed a VR option. Boneheaded move not to include it, and it would have helped pushed headsets.
So happy to see this announcement! Finally CAPCOM ports over AAI 2! I was just about ready to play the fan made translation, too.
Don't skip this series (start at the beginning) if you enjoy a thrilling and whacky murder mystery story!
It ended up being my favorite game show of the year. Not bad for a system in its final main year of support.
Been waiting for this announcement for a long time. Happy to see this news!
He won't be missed. Can Spencer leave as well? Get someone who cares about gaming in charge? That'd be nice.
After Astro Bot, make Ape Escape 4. We need more wins!
Their only Japanese studio, this is the studio they should have protected, and I've always preferred Japanese style games. Phil killing off Tango shows how out of touch he truly is.
Phil should have been sacked the moment he decided to cancel Scalebound.
No matter how long you wait, mobile games will never match Nintendo first party titles. And I say this as someone who sometimes dabbles in mobile games, but the craftsmanship simply isn't in the same league.
Four thousand, four hundred, fifty-three days later, all 3 came to pass.
We got some WWII from Unity side missions. We got Egypt from Origins (yeah, it was boring just like Alex said it would be), and now we're getting Japan.
I have no interest in the 'new era' of AC games, that are such a repetitive grind, too bad because I've always wanted Japan back when I was a fan.
Tommy Tallerico still holds the record for stupid interviews and comments. If you don't know what happened with the Amico its a fascinating tale of pure lies and idiocy. But yeah, Spencer is second place, perhaps one day, he'll even top Tommy.
This guy is a clown, and completely wrong. Most modern games are trash not worth your time and money.
