I bought a DreamPi to play both Dreamcast and Saturn online! So far I'm only played with two people online with Saturn, and I need to spend more time with the Dreamcast community in order to play with them. I miss ChuChu Rocket online, good times!

This tells us that the hardware jump from Switch 1 to Switch 2 will actually be significant. Something close to the Xbox One or Playstation 4 realm of visuals. I'm expecting something close to a Steam Deck capabilities, or perhaps slightly beyond it.

Sony first party cross gen games period is over at this point, third party cross gen will continue for smaller games, and indie cross gen is perfectly fine, no need to make them current gen exclusive. Sony are not going to sell us a PS5 Pro just to play cross gen games.
It would be nice to see developers actually grow a backbone and tell their bosses that they don't want to make these live service grindy, filler games.

I ran into the quest glitch where if you die on the giant crab boss, it never respawns again, and thus you can not complete the quest, making the platinum trophy or full achievements impossible.
That was extremely annoying, and I straight up quit the game. Bethesda never patched this bug even 3 years after release. What good is such a massive game with tons of quests, if its partially broken?

This is what happens when you bet your future on a subscription service. There is nothing wrong with the tradition of 'blades & razors' that Nintendo started back in the mid 80's, MS should have never abandoned that business model to focus on subscriptions.
What type of gamer is even in the Xbox ecosystem at this point? Why buy an Xbox One or Xbox Series when there are superior alternatives?
