Every modern game had "XP" as a way to waste your lifespan, prolong the low quality content and give a false sense of progression, or encourages the purchase of micro-trash-actions.
I'm doing my best to avoid games like that.
As others have said this isn't directly related to PlayStation. Just a sensationalist headline for attentions and clicks.
Sony won't be abandoning game discs on PS5 or PS6. I won't comment on PS7 since that's too far off, but I hope they'll still offer us the option.
"Ambitious roadmap" means live service junk with egregious micro-trash-actions, battle passes, unfinished sloppy games rushed out before Black Friday at all costs, then offer a fake ChatGPT written apology and promise to do better next time, only for the cycle to repeat.
You don't need to give us reasons why to boycott the skin / game / company. We already know to do so.
Why didn't he leave Konami back in December 2015 when Kojima left, especially after all the horror stories we've heard about Konami working conditions?
Cyber crime should be taken seriously, unlike anything you've had to say, which is to just be an annoying, worthless, douchey troll.
Loved Astro PSVR.
Loved Astro PS5 freebie.
Looking forward to Astro PS5 full game.
Next bring back Ape Escape, please?
Wii -> 3DS -> Switch -> $60? -> Nope.
I just want to say F*** these hackers. Kadokawa owns ebten.jp a store that sells Japanese exclusive gaming merchandise, I've been trying to buy Sonic X Shadow Collector's edition, but the site has been down for 3 weeks now. I hope these hackers get caught, thrown in prison for life, and get butt banged every day by Bubba!
This guy is a clown, and completely wrong. Most modern games are trash not worth your time and money.
He's wrong, Nintendo will not be abandoning physical media for decades.
Sony, I don't think they'll be abandoning it either, its another feather in their cap over Microsoft who can't wait to ditch game discs. Sony also has a vested interest in keep Blu-ray media alive for as long as possible.
More environment interaction, and some parkour elements, that's what I wanted to see. Artistic style is different, but not necessarily bad.
Looking forward to seeing more.
This list is missing Fin.K.L's appearance in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2.

@yeahokaywhatever, that's a good point I won't deny, we'll never really know what would happen exactly, but its safe to assume that things would have been easier for Sony in the early years if they launched simultaneously.
The headstart was vital, but also still bit them in the ass. It goes both ways.
They were desperate to undercut Sony in price, but they don't understand that people want good games more than they want cheap consoles.
This reminds me of 2005 when MS shipped the 360 too early before the hardware was fully tested and ready to be sold. Thus we ran into a severe RROD issue. They were desperate to ship a year before Sony and it bit them in the ass.
MS is their own worst enemy, and they don't even realize it, don't be surprised ...
According to the trailer, its not on Xbox. So he's either joking or an ignorant fool.
Always has.
"on a budget" and "next generation gaming" don't go together. If you can't afford a PS5 (staring at $400 USD), a Series X (starting at $500 USD), or a modern PC, then don't worry about next gen gaming, play on older systems. PS3, PS4, PS4 Pro, 360, XBO, XBOX, NSW, you have plenty of options.
Or just save up your money, you don't need gaming immediately, its a luxury.
Pointless question. It never made sense. All MS needed to do was release the Series X without a disc drive and charge $100 less.
The whole idea behind "cheaper entry into buying next gen consoles" was always stupid. It reminds me of what Sega tried to do releasing both the 32x and Sega Saturn in 1994, hurting themselves in the end. MS hasn't learned from the mistakes of the past, thus the situation they are in now.
And kick OUT those terrible executives.
