Good reminder, I already have an RGH, but I'm going to buy a back up.
Sad news, I go there all the time for English translation patches, and game balance fixing, or bug patches, etc.
Sales will go from 10 a week down to 1 a week. Not a big difference.
I played AC: Odyssey during the Google Stadia beta test, it did use up a ton of my data cap. Long filler padded out Ubisoft games will drain that monthly data cap (if you have one) fast.
Buy up every major company (remember Spencer said that Nintendo hasn't realized yet that their future is to be bought by Microsoft), then once they have control over the industry, choke it, poison it, ruin it and force everyone to either 'accept or leave', knowing full well that gamers (especially younger ones) have no self control, and will continue to give them money over the games 'they made' (as in bought and then claimed they made it).
There are a lot of gaming magazines still being published by 'Future' in Europe. The prices are outrageous here in the States.
A magazine on handheld gaming costs $30?! Its just too much, even though I want to support, the prices are robbery, because I assume it has to be shipped to the other side of the world. Otherwise I'd subscribe to Retro Gamer Magazine straight away.
I don't work for Sony, but I'll regret buying Bungie for them.
More intentionally released broken games with micro-trash-actions, and of course fake apologies written by ChatGPT instead of doing it yourself because you don't give a crap if you sell people garbage for their hard earned money.
Ass.
Its our job as old people to inform the younger generation whats happening. Hopefully they will learn from us, and if not they'll learn from first-hand experience, and then try to teach their next generation, who will also probably ignore the warnings.
And the cycle will repeat forever.
Yeah, as a fan of MGS and Splinter Cell, I'd enjoy another game like them. Currently in development we're getting remakes with both series storyline starting points.
To me it feels like they've run out of new ideas so they have to go back and do remakes instead of making a new adventure.
The all digital future some people want is going to end up biting them in the ass. Don't support it, you'll only end up screwing yourself.
But from Sony's and Nintendo's perspective they love having Phil in charge of Xbox! 🤣
RGH is 100% off, and soon will be the only way to play these games on 360.
I understand why online Achievements / Trophies exist, but I don't like them.
Sometimes you have to do something stupid online such kill an opponent while they are using a specific character skin such as in Gears of War 3. But I have no control over which skin other people select!
Nice thing they did, but not actually gaming related, not sure why this article was approved. Also strange informing us what game Rare worked on, as if we don't know their legacy.
So it begins, and its only going to get worse as time goes on. Reward the companies that respect their work force, avoid those that replace them.
The story was at its most interesting early in the series, but has eventually ended up spinning its wheels going nowhere. The games don't feel linked together anymore. This is to make it easier to constantly churn out endless sequels.
Well game design wise, the series has remained mostly the same since 2001.
Go to location, watch cut-scene telling you what to do, go to second location, kill then collect item, or collect item then kill after, or escape criminals / cops. Sometimes you have to return to original mission starting point. That's their formula, don't expect anything different with 6, other than more details and a lively world enabled by better hardware.
Modern day trash game design, grind, filler, padding, and of course how could we forget the micro-trash-action store?
BARF!
Indeed there are other sites, but I liked having one central hub for this type of stuff. Instead of having it be fragmented, so I hope the community can agree upon a new centralized hub going forward.
MSU-1 hacks are great! I recently re-played A Link to the Past that way on my Super Famicom with SD2SNES!
