Microsoft obviously wants to as soon as possible, Sony may in the distant future, but Nintendo won't in our lifetimes. They love physical media more than any other company on the planet. Nintendo is so staunchly ass backwards in so many ways, but this may be the only time I'm glad they refuse to 'get with the times'. So at least one first party will offer physical.
Waste your lifespan grinding or pay real money to fix what they intentionally made awful. All the while the CEOs are laughing at the dummies wasting their time & money.
Anyone could tell you that. Ask yourselves when do subscription prices DECREASE? Not counting a temporary sale, such as during Black Friday or special Anniversary deal.
Subscription prices always go up, and so will all tiers of Game Pass.
The pandemic really helped the Switch explode in popularity during the middle of its lifespan. It had fully entered the zeitgeist and mass market at that point.
Looks... Interesting. Not much of a stealth game based on the trailer, so hopefully they make another showing us that we can actually choose to avoid combat, and use distractions or trickery to make progress.
Not getting too excited yet, but I'll take a wait and see approach.
He doesn't pay for N4G access, if N4G disappears, he's lost nothing.
If someone buys this game and loses access because their internet is down, or Ubisoft servers are down from hacking or DDOS, etc. then, we don't have what we paid for because of DRM B.S.
Furthermore, we can't support this because companies will always push us a little bit further. People who try to defend this because "Its just for installation." don't think...
Four different tiers:
Ultimate
Standard
Core
PC
Game Pass for Console is no longer available to new subscribers. Yeah it does feel like a bit much. I have no interest in constantly recurring subscription fees, I'll gladly buy my games, and even better, most of the time I have no problem waiting for a price drop, very rarely do I care about buying day one these days.
You're welcome, take care of that Wii U!
Remakes can't help Ubisoft because they're obsessed with online installation, in-game stores to sell you digital junk, different pre-order bonuses from different stores, charging $20 to play a game 3 days early, releasing unfinished, some times downright broken games. Then we have all the boring copy and paste missions littered around a game map that's too large for its own good. And of course let's not forget knowingly releasing broken PC ports, then offer up a fake apology, ...
Interesting, I currently using Bluestacks on my PC, it works okay, but not all games are compatible, and some work but with glitches, so it would be nice to have an alternative option.
The sooner the better.
Its a shame, because Xbox and Xbox 360 are great consoles with many exclusive games. But everything MS has done since the Kinect has been a mess. They burned and lost their fanbase, just like how Sega did during the 90's, Nintendo and Sony were all too happy to accept displeased Sega fans, which never returned when the Dreamcast launched.
It didn't have to be that way in the 1990's, or in the 2010's, but it happened, and now you reap what you sow.
Actually its the opposite, boxing it up is what will kill the machine. You want it plugged in, and you want to power it on frequently, that's how you'll extend the life of the memory chips. This brief video explains it.

Sorry to hear that, and my sympathy goes out to everyone from all companies who have been laid off. 1,500 layoffs after all the previous layoffs at MS is terrible news.
I hope they courts block MS from buying up any more game companies going forward.
I still remember when morons defended Microsoft back in 2013 with their awful DRM plans. A hiccup from your ISP or from their Azure servers could jeopardize the ability to play your games, both discs and digital. What a terrible idea, and MS rightfully got what they deserved, a thorough trashing that resulted them in selling a third of their competition.
Its been 11 years, and MS hasn't improved or tried to be better, instead they just spent money to buy up the industry...
Are you just coming to this realization now? People have been saying this since consoles first had digital game stores. Its also brought up every time a digital store is shut down (DSiware, 3DS, Wii U, PSP, and X360 soon), don't say "Feels more like borrowing", there is no "feeling" it is straight up FACT.
You don't own the game that you bought digitally, you have a license, which can be revoked at any time, for any reason, including an AI algori...
People who have My Nintendo accounts should get early access codes to use to buy directly from Nintendo. And of course add a captcha or two in order to stop bots from taking the inventory.
Remember that scalping only works if stupid people support them. Unfortunately, there's lots of stupid people that are willing to support, so scalping isn't going to stop anytime soon.
Kotick did the same thing to NeverSoft, then shut them down. 😡
I actually think a mass multiplayer mode for Crazy Taxi would be fun, especially if you could just drive around and B.S. with your friends without a timer. But there's no offline mode at all? That's unacceptable and if that's true, this is going to kill the game before its even finished.
THPS 3 & 4 canceled for Diablo II Remake, and now Crash 5 canceled, too? Ah yes, we need to focus only on Call of Duty, that's the Activision way.
