Succeed or not, Ubishit isn't getting my money, the last thing I bought from them was Scott Pilgrim vs. The World for PS4, and before that was Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Their games have grown stale, there's too much filler, and not enough quality moments, a lot of busy work, and trash man side job of collecting endless crap off the ground. What a shame, it didn't have to be this way.
I may start doing that, sort of.
I own two PS5 consoles, though I don't actually use them yet, I'm keeping them on very low firmware, I kept them this way believing there would be a software mod, and it turned out there is one (I haven't done it yet).
I'll be buying PS5 Pro, and using that for playing official games and keeping it up to date.
I don't mind doing the same thing again with PS6 / PS6 Pro, my backlog of g...
Work with Platinum to make Rising 2 or Rising Prequel with Jetstream Sam. 😁
How awful. What should have been a moment of celebration for the dev team, turned into an terrible day for them.
"The game that you spent years of your life on is finally out for people to enjoy! ALSO YOU'RE ALL FIRED!"
F you NetEase. I'll only remember your company name so that I can avoid it in the future. Hopefully S-E hires the these talented people and gives them more games to work on.
Have the sequel be VR compatible, Astro on PSVR1 is fantastic.
Actually Sonic Origins Plus is the exact same game as Sonic Origins (which was digital only) but on physical media. Sega added "Plus" on the sticker label on Switch carts, and disc label on PlayStation blu-rays, but the game is the same. They come with a code to unlock the extra content, and patches fix the bugs from the initial release. Sega pulled a Sega.
Here's some people talking about it.

Just a reminder:
Ubishit's apology is FAKE. They don't give a shit if you're unhappy or experience problems. They will continue to release broken unfinished games year after year. The people who support them are part of the problem, they keep rewarding Ubishit's trash games and awful business practices. The people who bought this trash are just as much to blame for these unfinished games as the executives are.
Its true that live service games that hit it big, such as Fortnite, Apex Legends, Rocket League, GTA V online can rake in the big bucks.
But there's only so many dumb whales to milk, there's only so many hours in the day to play, and there's only so many live service games that can hit it big. There's huge risks but also huge rewards.
Concord entered a crowded hero shooter market, they really should have known better.
It'll probably happen, but given their terrible track record, it's going to be a rushed sloppy port.
I can see it now, half the fans will make excuses for Konami ("I'm just happy to play the game, even though its worse than the original release.")
Then the other half will complain about the substandard port. The MGS fan base will go back and forth arguing about it for days, if not years. When all of it could have been avoided if Kona...
The loading screens should be just a quick fade, and are likely there for gameplay balance purposes.
If you trigger the alert, when you switch to another area it does give you some space to try and get away from enemy soldiers. If this wasn't present it'd probably be very frustrating to find a hiding spot and let the timer run out to go back to caution and normal mode again.
Though, I too would have preferred one continuous game map, but I unders...
And there's fools out there convinced that these live service flops are still more profitable than single player games.
Astrobot is looking like it'll be a success, Sony needs to bring back great single player games like Ape Escape, and stop focusing on live service junk.
This game not having a territory mode is what killed my interest in it. How could they screw it up so badly, that should have been the main mode they created.
Power Stone 2 with online play? Only in Japan was Power Stone 2 online, so I'm happy to see this collection.
Skipping Rival Schools was unfortunate.
Trash company, and yet people are actually defending them.
"Its not out for another 3 days."
Oh, everything will be fixed in just 3 days, meanwhile that disc copy is friggin' useless forever.
Releasing games in beta state is not okay. Charging extra to let people play games released in beta state is even worse.
Stop defending Ubishit.
Intentionally releasing games with "substantial issues" is the Ubisoft way. Happy to not give this company my money anymore.
No major Switch 2 info this year, Nintendo wants to milk this last Christmas for all its worth. But early next year, it will be time.
Hopefully their next game has a single player campaign, plus a CO-OP Horde Mode (I love Gears and Uncharted Horde mode), and they can add VS multiplayer as well.
ND could move onto other projects, this is all Firewalk had. Concord was a waste of Sony's money, and I hope they've learned something from this.
Indeed, portable PS5 is not possible yet, but a portable PS4 is, Nintendo Switch 2 is likely in that ballpark of visual fidelity.
The only problem is power draw, PS4 was never designed to run off a battery so its quite power hungry which makes sense for a plug in device, while Switch 1 & 2 were planned for battery usage and have low power draw. This is the issue Sony would need to solve.
Yet I was told that this game was a better investment than Ape Escape 4, and that there aren't enough fans of platforming games on PlayStation these days.
Insane gibberish some will spout out. 😂
Looking forward to seeing Astro Bot selling well soon enough.
