There's also the oft forgotten Metal Gear Solid Mobile and Metal Gear Arcade.
There's also the data cap issue. Comcast imposes 1.1 TB per month, which is a lot for me, but when I was streaming Assassin's Creed: Odyssey (for free from the Google Stadia beta - I would never actually pay for game streaming), I had to constantly check my data usage, and not go past the limit, which is very easy to do if you're not careful.
Also, if my internet was used for anything else while streaming AC:O, the connection would lag out. So you can't do a...
Don't hate on the Sega Genesis.
PS5 gen is going to last for a very long time, probably the longest of any PS console. Then of course there's 3-5 years of cross-gen.
Strong rumors that a new showcase is happening very soon!
Vol.1 was such embarrassing trash, even if Konami promises a perfect Vol.2 I don't have high hopes for it. Though I would love to be proven wrong. Publishers have become very accustomed to releasing unfinished games these days, and Konami has done nothing within the past decade to have earned our trust.
Unlike what I've been told on N4G, there IS a market for classic platforming games. Ape Escape, Sly Cooper, and of course new IPs. The market exists, even though executives aren't trying to cater to the fans.
All executives want cloud gaming for a reason, because they can completely control every single element of the industry, and we'd have zero choice or control over what happens going forward. Gross, I won't support it. This hypothetical "$40B industry" will not get my money.
What's strange to me is that Sony cut the PS4 Pro's lifespan too short. They stopped making them at the end of 2020, but they could have sold more if they kept making more, just give it a price drop when the PS5 released, and they'd sell decently well.
Glad you're an ex staffer, what a corporate douche.
Yes, nice that we can add one but it should have been included with that high price tag.
I'm not too upset over the $700 USD price, the 5 Pro is a beast, but they really should have included the drive with it, which wouldn't have cost them much.
But that said I'm going to get one anyway.
Of course it will, though you may get lucky with an unlocked VRR mode that bounces between 30 - 45 FPS on base 5 and Series X.
Ezio: "Requiescat in pace."
Add-on drive is compatible.
Its compatible with the slim add-on drive. So increase the price by another $80 USD. Total $780 USD + tax. Yikes.
Drive should have been included with the console at its $700 price. 🫤
$700 USD without a disc drive is crazy. Sony doesn't take hardware cost hits anymore for sure.
You'll only get the last point on your wishlist.
Firmwares are usually discussed on the blog.
PS6 may finally offer up a PS3 emulator, but 5 Pro CPU isn't powerful enough.
Good, burn yourselves up.
Ubisoft, a long time ago you were a great publisher, but over the past decade you've gone out of your way to create these protracted, filler experiences, and pack them with micro-trash-actions.
You intentionally create a problem with grindy slog fake 'RPG' games, and then you sell the solution for $10 in order to accrue EXP at what should have been the normal rate. Another $10 to accrue resources at a normal rate as well.
Cigars?
Or did you mean stooges?
