I agree that trailers may paint a bad picture of what the game truly is (we all remember that Dead Island one) but still, that's something to look at to have a first impression. That's why gameplay trailers are really important.
We live in a age of faboyism and paid reviews, so yeah, it's hard to trust anybody. I'd go with trust your instinct on what you saw of trailers and early gameplay. If you have the chance to find a site that tells it how it is, lucky you, stick to it.
Yes, but the sad part is gaming journalists are mostly a joke and give 9s and 10s like it was Christmas, 8 is a meh++ which should still great and 7 or below is how the level of how bad it is.
Most of them are like that but maybe this guy's different.
Some people are obsessed about Sony failing and this might be the worst case of Sony hating.
I grabbed Knack in the Valentine sale and I can't believe it made the worst games of 2013. I completed a first run and I can say it's awesome.
LBP3 also received mediocre ratings.
To "That weird wingy dog and a boy", I also hope for just a rename.
That was exactly my thoughts when I read the title. The Last Guardian has such a stench of failure that they decided to rename the project. That'd make sense.
Talk about a flip flopper :D..10 months ago "PS4 Is Substantially Better Than Xbox One Even With DirectX 12, Says Stardock CEO". I've not seen any of their games on X1 or PS4, so at this point we might as well ask the opinion of the original Frogger dev.
Though this one isn't an exclusive, it's a timed release...
Coming after the mess that was colonial marines, I think those sales are outstanding. It needs a sequel for sure!
That's like the antenna gate argument Steve Jobs gave about the iPhone and how the reception sucked but it was more than just a phone.
Now, it's yeah the gaming part of the X1 is below PS4 (less power, less 1st party exclusives and whatnot) but extra features on the console are so much better. As a PS4 gamer, I'm totally okay with that.
They need to stop cheating gamers, the visual parity is a joke, they need to give each platform their max visuals. Cutting corners is also a practice they need to halt.
All of this means bad business because now people have doubts on every games they release. Next AC release will be crucial. Ubisoft Quebec needs to hit this one out of the park.
They also need to stop the yearly releases. Sure, some might say COD does it, but it's so different because 3-4 ...
More pre-order than PS4 and X1 combined for Evolve. The game is getting more hype by the days, I wouldn't nervous if I was the 1886 team.
Duh...they're not that dumb.
Savage Starlight needs to happen, but the TLOU too. The universe is so wide, they can do whatever they want, I wouldn't even expect Joel or Ellie to be in there and TLOU2 would still be great. Prequel, long or short after the first one, new cast...as long as it works as a story in that world and it still is as emotional and intense.
So you missed on The New Order because you put all FPS' in the same basket, your loss.
Wup wup
I hated the Wii and the Move. Motion gaming is just stupid and useless. It's good for non-gamers I guess, but overall it's a joke that's been going for way too long. D.O.M.G. please.
2 new fantastic IPs and number 1 is a game that anybody pretty much can play since 2000. That makes sense.
Though I really doubt this is true, it would be awesome.
Like many others said, they need to make the MP grand for this to work. Pay attention to very different maps, different body types/kinds of characters, weapons variety.
The core of this franchise is excellent and I really enjoyed R2 and R3, but at the same time, I sadly understood why so many people looked away when those came out. Something was missing.
Maybe the humans could have crea...
It's like that Family Guy when people were "doing Kermit" aka licking frogs. All the cool kids were doing it.
Now only the cool game reviewers are trashing The Order, if you're not you're just stupid.
To these reviewers, don't forget that "Everybody knows you never go full retard.".
