It feels like those DVD-VHS combo we had back in the days, people were buying them and ending up using mostly only the DVD because they only had old VHS movies, and once the DVD was everywhere, these were a joke.
I love my PS3 games and I still buy some once in a while, but that's why I kept my PS3 even if I own a PS4.
Sony shouldn't waste money on a feature that 25% of it users will try the first year, 10% the second year and none in three years beca...
I don't know bud, that shot with the broken bridge and the boy on one side, the dog on the other, it looks pretty amazing to me.
People should revisit their favorite PS3 games, the last gen was great but it had its limits, devs were using all the tricks to make it look good but work with those limits, a little blur here and there, downplay colors, details, etc.
This has the current-gen's crisp look. Will it improve from now 'til release, for sure....
I'd be down for it, the first Dead Space was one of the best games out of the last gen, Dead Space and TLoU mix with the Resistance story line and universe, I'm so in!
We'll have to wait and see what Sony's E3 lineup offers, because I still think it's the same as Ryan Reynolds saying Deadpool was gonna be PG and bam, rated R.
A surprise isn't quite the same if people are expecting things, whether it's Last Guardian, a Sony Bend game or Guerilla Games game dropping in late 2015, I think Uncharted 4 gave its spot to something big and great while at the same time getting an easiest release date to make.
They don't own the IP, it won't happen.

Fast forward two-three decades, make Jack Capelli the main character but bring back his father Joseph as a secondary. Chimeras waited and prepared their return, new weapons, new breeds of Chimeras.
Sure throwback games like Resistance set in the 50's are great, or way back like The Order, Bloodborne, the AC games. But a game set in a not so distant past I feel hasn't been done a lot.
On top of the SP game, they need to make the most awesome MP game.
And that's why NA doesn't get those artsy or subtle boxes art, when a title decides to go with it, it's being called boring.

The developer confirmed not too long ago it was only a timed release on the xbox platforms and it was coming to others after the exclusivity. How long? Who knoes. What's defined as the other platforms? Pretty fair to expect minimum ps4 and pc.
Don't forget the Sony Blend game inspired by TLOU. Sure, they said their 1st party lineup is sparse, but I'm sure House completed the sentence with "..for the moment" is his head. Sony likes surprises and to reveal their stuff when they feel like it.
If they sub-15 million consoles, they would have to show what their cards are, to re-assure their fans but right now they still can play that game.

It might just be a new concept for Ninty, like a console with current-gen power and non-gimmicky/regular controller..boom..mind blown!
As long as this not an excuse for poor visuals and animations. My go to's are always the last two Raymans, great gameplay poured on top of awesome visuals.
I agree, but much like 1886, I feel they would've needed a bit more time and few more ideas to make it really great.
I get that they wanted it to look cute and cartoony to reach a kid audience, but it was somewhat hard, and if somehow it would have been possible to make it look grittier the higher the difficulty you chose, it could have been game changing and it would have fit the game completely.
It depends when it goes multiplatform. The current gen will only get better and at some point if you have to wait 6+ months to get this game, I know I won't be that sucker who buys it then, if I already waited for it to be on my console, I can wait a bit more to get it half price.
Also, I'm already turned off by this game being a timed exclusive, it will have to be amazing to get me interested.

It's all about what the new journey would be about. The TLOU was about the Fireflies, how they moved so many times and then once found, how desperate and yet unsure about the cure. Plus that intro chapter was something else.
What could they do for a second one to edge this. I could see them been quiet for a while and on her 18th birthday, Joel tells her about what really happened with the Fireflies and then no more Joel. New quest for the Fireflies with the now lone wolf ...
I don't know, I bought Knack dirt cheap in a PSN sale because it got blasted so hard I thought the game was awful and I ended up having a great time with it.
Kiddy looking 3D platformers will always have an issue to be deemed as beautiful looking, the argument of it could have been done on a PS1 or N64 will pop here and there. 2D has the same issue, but once in a while you'll get a Rayman Legends or Rayman Origins.

Yuck..if it is..bring on another failure. Anyway, I doubt NX is relevant, if they try to make a machine as powerful as X1/PS4, 300$, a regular controller and 3rd party support, what would convince regular PS or X owners to switch to Ninty? Gamecube tried that and it failed to sell.
