I'm a PS4 owner and I'm not even sure I would recommend owning one of the two at the moment because it's still very early on, needless to say I wouldn't recommend owning both.
I guess own just one of them for a few years and 5-6 years into a gen buy the other, buy the exclusives from the bargain bin, see what you've been missing while playing the other console's exclusives.
I say that but I wouldn't do it, I'm fine missing on s...
I grew up with the NES and the Marios, Zeldas, Punch-Out, but God of War is the game that made me say I need to stay a gamer and see what other great titles will get created.
All I need now is to understand their tables and then change my gamer name ;)
All three remastered with the same character models throughout would be awesome, it would be a buy for sure!
46 million users vs 7 million, sure, the 3DS version is obsolete.
PSN and Live had issues with the Destiny launch, now PSN had issues with a major patch launch. Those kind of events will make this happen, for Live and PSN, is it normal..maybe not but it's understandable.
Even iTunes is unresponsive at some point when a new iOS is out.
Sure, tag PSN as a one of a kind crappy online service, but it's nowhere near true.
The other way to look at it is "Microsoft had to fire some shots".
X1 started with a mandatory buy of the Kinect at 500$, then drop the Kinect to make it 400$, then gave its new buyers 2 games for that same price, now it's 350$ with one game.
Through all those moves, Sony stayed by far on top, so what should they do to reply to this, nothing. But they need to do what Sony does best, pop 1st party/3rd party exclusive games at a good rhythm. This year'...
I think they'll wait to see how the sale numbers look like, score isn't everything.
Actually Dre confirmed Detox will never come out and is replaced by another one...that will also likely not come out.
The PS+ edition will be out at some point, but the tease then maybe buy element won't longer be there. We'll see.
Now what?
Well, what's been said can't be unsaid, there's that.
When there was that always connected rule, I remember that M$ guy answer to the question what if I want to bring it to the chalet or a remote place without internet, "there's the 360 for that".
Such a slap to the face of their customers.
Sorry, don't believe them, I'll still continue my one year buy hiatus I started from the AC:U comment. So many games are coming out, I don't need to support a full of bs developper.
Uncharted 4, MGS5, The Order...2015 will be a great year.
But Bloodborne is an high-end wild card. We don't much about it yet, but what we'e seen is awesome and the developper has an amazing track record.
You can take QB out of your list, it will be a mediocre commercial success and a boring game. You could say the same thing about the Order, but I still think it has chance to be stellar.
Patcher became the worst attention wh0re, all he predicts nowadays are underdog, hail mary stuff. He's entertaining at best but useless, he's the Kim Kardashian of the video games industry.
I believe them so mmuch! /s
Sorry, this PS4 owner can't handle AC:Unity.
I don't know, I'm turned off by studios that goes back and forth with exclusivity.
They'll build a new multi-platform IP, sell the sequel to X1, ...
Sorry, not for me.
Don't want this, you can even keep the sequel as an exclusive, don't care.
Beautiful, sure, I've seen better but it looked good but it sounded boring and repetitive as hell.
If it comes to PS4, great, maybe there's a crowd for it but I won't be one of them, even if it comes to 9.99 in the bargain bin.
I wonder if every 5 years old create their own eShop account or the fathers are the ones buying the games for their kids with a parent account...just a thought.
I hope you won't be amazed by how Toys'r'us is an adult store if they release a statement that 80% of the buyers are over 25.
Not at all, I'm just saying that around 50-70% of Wii U's are used by kids. Adults aren't the main focus of Nintendo, but sure there are a few.
Hey, I'm an adult PS owner, love my FPS, my gore filled games and whatnot, but I'm also a big fan of LittleBigPlanet. I acknowledge that it's a kid game, nothing wrong with it.
I didn't mean to rub anyone the wrong way, but I still think Wii U is a kid aimed at console.
Nobody bought the first one and now it's an exclusive on a console that doesn't sell well, were almost only 1st party games sell, and is mostly a kid console but this game is 17+. Of course it won't be a success...
They should get a throwback named system in Ultra Nintendo Entertainment System, everybody would call it Ultra Nintendo, that'd be great.
