We can break that circle by stopping buying the series, give it the Dead Space treatment. They'll either re-think the yearly release or stop making it completely and replace it with something else.
Btw, I don't follow the X1 that much, but now that it's gaining some ground with the lower priced kinectless X1 and to my knowledge not too many games use the kinect...Is kinect dead?

Games is the media, graphics, gameplay and story is what makes a game. So, yeah, graphics is no gimmick. NFC/Amiibo, second screen are indeed gimmicks and I don't care for them.

That's a Pachter free game reaction there, 50$ won't change a thing, sure people who wanted to buy a X1 in the first place will maybe buy one because of that promotion but it won't change the mind of people who wanted a PS4.
