They decided that and I hope they're intelligent enough to know that this would make a lot youtubers back away from Ninty content. This, the U, they're out of touch with the industry they're in. The DS/3DS is the last remaining positive note.
I agree, overall, I'd say they need to Uncharted that franchise. The core is so cool. Include more gameplay, expand the length of the chapters, give more space to the other characters. More half-breeds, more vampires, mixed race, whatever. And much like Uncharted, give us grand decors, though that boat/fire chapter was AMAZING, same with the zeppelin and port.
We'll see a sequel for sure, the seeds they planted are just too good.
Up until a few days, I thought this was gonna be a 3D game similar to God Of War and I still have a hard getting over it, but this is a really good looking game.
Teachers should stick to what they do best and let parents do their job even if it looks like a few a doing a very crappy job. Some will say, my kid will play it anyway at friends, first sign you're a really bad parent with those arguments. I believe the reason why they moved it will be uncovered at E3, like other great exclusive takes the slot and gives ND an extra few months to polish U4.
Then, why did they not prohibit videos all together instead of getting a cut? Can they ask you to remove a videos because you trash review one of their games or have a not family friendly language while having your game session?
I call that the ungrateful brat syndrome. They're pushing the boundaries, testing how much is too much just because they think they're in the position to do so. Once it breaks or they feel like it may break, they'll back off a little bit.
Sony kinda did it with then PS3 pricing, M$ did it a whole lot with the XBone launch and Kinect 2.

I've always said Ninty has been in the nostalgia business for years. They milk their IPs, re-hash them and re-milk them again. Hey, it still works, but their star is fading.
I swear, if in 20 years we're at Uncharted/GoW 30, and had Uncharted/GoW soccer, hockey, volleyball, tennis, baseball, kart, etc...I will have been off Sony for years.
I scored it high 70s or low 80s, but I would totally understand people giving it 90-95. But I don't understand below 60, even 70.

I loved 1886 as a new IP, the second one needs to impress and improve on some weaknesses. They need to "Uncharted" the franchise.

In my opinion, this primetime slot has been freed for a game that needs more exposure than Uncharted does.
@higgins78 No, cartoonish wasn't meant to be an insult. I loved the two last Raymans and Stick of Truth. Also, I'm sorry you're not a fan of hyperbole. Sure, it has detail, every game does, but on a scale of 10, they're at 3-4. Maps don't look to have that much of it, characters' overall complexion is okay.
I'm sure From Software would have made it 1080p and 60 fps if Bloodborne was a cartoonish game with no level of detail.
The movie is coming this mid-year in theater, so I assume the game would release shortly after. E3 will confirm this.

It doesn't make sense business wise to keep the Wii U alive and develop new massive games for it. They should focus on what I think the NX is, a new home console.
