Zavvi had the best price, but had sold out of the PS3 collectors edition a long time prior to release.
Gamestation then did a pre-order bonus of some art cards, I went in to order a copy of the PS3 version for myself and a 360 copy for my friend, but was told that they had sold out of pre-orders for the 360 game.
Loving the game though .. as is my friend!
.. it seemed a little harsh with the final score given that the review actually praised the 360 for doing something better than the PS3 - ie a consistent frame rate.
Also, most gamers won't see both versions, so I'd imagine the level of awe will be the same for someone experiencing the game on their system for the first time. I really hope they enjoy it.

Why do some, not all, but some PS3 owners feel need to crack into the 360 version? You're getting the best version, so why are you arsed with another console's iteration of the game?
Looks to be a fabulous game and tons of people are going to play it, no matter which console they own. Win win. You'd think.

I agree sometimes games just click and it probably means you're bringing something extra to the table that will make you want to drink in as much as possible within storytelling, exploration and nuance.
As such I really can't wait for Fragile Dreams, which looks breathtaking.

I like the look of it, the fact that the opening sequence seems to resemble one of my favourite coin-ops ever [Typhoon] and have been listening to the soundtrack a fair bit.

Presumed it Spartan Kelly. She went into Battle with the Spartans and in Mjolnir armour, albeit more akin to the full orb helmet variation seen in the online game. And of a light blue.
There's another Spartan involved, wearing a dark grey armour as well.
I don't want to see John's face. Ever. There's the presumption of course that we, the gamesplayer, are John. Moreover, I rather like the level of Judge Dredd mystique.
On the upswing, great to not only see Kelly, but *see* Kelly and there are some seriously cool moments in there.
On the downside, Master Chief with a different voice and some seriously ropey music.
Oh and the first week without a full episode.
I loved the first two and am eager to see more of this one. This was one of the eps I was looking forward to the most though, so ..! Hmm.
I love how they take time out to insightfully review a game, with a genuinely funny deadpan humour, but not to the point that it's the reviewer being full of themselves as is found so often elsewhere. It's backed up with a genuine enthusiasm for games, all games, from all times - which is why you're just as likely to review a modern games as they are one from the Atari 2600.

Firstly, the loss of anyone in the real that you're close to is humbling and hurts irrevocably.
