I saw the review of Mindjack on Classic Game Room and it came across as a game that had it's development ended too early.
With a little more time to monkey with getting things right, I think they might have been onto something here.
As it stands, it looks destined to be in the £5 bargain bins within weeks.
The 3DS marks somewhat of a curiousity for me - and i'm really looking forward to seeing the 3d aspects in the real - but NGP seems *wow*
I can see how many might view it as a pure update of the PSP, but the aspects of touch screen and Uncharted hopefully as a launch title, have my attention absolutely.

Could be the touchpad as mentioned, although, maybe there will be an icon on screen to press instead?!

You're getting a whole extra game for nothing - one which reviewed well on Wii [and within it's remastered HD form will sell for $15 on the Plastation Network] - and you're asking why that makes it better value?

The heavier emphasis on characterisation is wonderful and i've found myself becoming drawn in ever deeper into the workers, their plight and the horror that's surrounding them.
I completed chapter 3 last night, which was a world of suspenseful. Running through ventilation shafts that are covered in dead ..necromorph..blerg.. jumping like a loon, but bringing the added courtesy of a flamethrower to the party.

I know the former professes to be doing something a little bit different, but it does seem rather wacky to have 3 FPS games launching within a fortnight of one another.

What keeps me addicted to Halo is absolutely the Universe that's being built and explored.
O'Connor manages this superbly. I've loved the novels to pieces and am smitten with the lore that's being built between the prose and the games.
As for the latter, Halo CE is still my favourite, but I adored ODST to pieces. I know a lot of people didn't like the tech, or said it was DLC .. but for me the game seemed so *lonely*, amidst the rainfall, ...

I'm a huge Dead Space fan and am biting on my knuckles for Friday's release.
But what I don't understand is - why the PS3 version isn't getting a higher rating than the 360.
The main shortcoming of the reviews seem to be the multiplayer, but if you're getting the excellent Dead Space Extraction at no extra cost, then why doesn't that factor into the final score?

I agree entirely about how dire the regular Mass Effect 2 box art is .. but i'm sure I saw a ltd edition, which was a rain soaked real looking suit from one of the characters - and it looked tremendous.
Dead Space was a great game, but the cover was absolutely terrible. I can't say i'm particularly keen on the design choice for the sequel either.
Re box art in general, from a pure design perspective I really don't like the Xbox360 decal that ...
I work is a large office and i've heard a lot of Kinect conversations.
From casual gamers who have bought Kinect & the console specifically, perhaps seeing them as the next step up from Wii - and the more regular gamers who have used it as a family plug in for *their* Xbox.
All are enjoying it and talking about it, so the degree of viral mentioned int he article doesn't surprise me.
For myself, I see Move and Kinect lacking that game that...

The gentleman behind some of my favourite games ever within Final Fantasy goodness and the utterly underrated Lost Odyssey.
I'm hoping this is purely Mistalker/Nintendo stirring up the fanbase, perhaps getting a few people who haven't been looking at the game to have a gawp.

I picked up both games for under a fiver, following great reviews on Classic Game Room.
The first one, despite showing it's age - and the lead character seemingly walking with a built-up shoe], was *superb* fun. Some really great set pieces in there and I certainly got my £5's worth.
The sequel is a world prettier, but somehow not quite as great as the original. Still a really treat to play, mind.
