Adore Demon's Souls to pieces, still scrapping like a daft lad through it, loving every minute.
It's been refreshing to see Nintendo put such an effort in with Monster Hunter Tri over here.
A handful of launch events, adverts on the telly and a rather fantastic chest full of goodies.
Normally the level of promotion is rendered for family games only, so to see a kick on and then some in what's perceived as such a hardcore title, is fantastic.
Also, looking across various boards on the net, this seems to be a day 1 purchase for many. Hopefully Nintendo will see the sales...
All that's been seen so far is some gorgeous painted artwork. The game itself hasn't been seen at all outside of those.
Sakaguchi is a master and I can't wait to see what he has in store.
And why are you once again trolling a Wii thread and bestowing how great PS3/360 visuals are?
Baffling.
An update of Sensible World Of Soccer for XBLA, just in time for the world cup.
The original is still my favourite game ever, I play the current XBLA version even now and would adore for a few more tweaks, bells and whistles.
Some really cracking games coming out on the Wii this year and this is another i'm really looking forward to.
.. the game is sounding more and more intriguing.
*REALLY* looking forward to this one.
Lost Odyssey was fabulous and it's been a long wait for another slice of Sakaguchi's wonderful imaginations and it feels like he's creating something a little bit special here.
Genuinely can't wait.
It looks a little Silent Hill from the videos i've seen, but .. hmmm.
Pretty as heck from the trailers and screenshots, but I want to know the bare bones of if the game is any good.
Not long to go to find out, I guess .. and after all that development time, I hope there's a good game underneath.
Would make me *very* happy indeed.
I'm curious to see where the story goes, the setting and the next graphical leap. On the other hand, the return of the weapon wheel and vehicles would be a bit spiffy.
why are you piling in here, chiming in about it's not as good as game-x, or game-y.
Why are you bothered?
Why the need to justify?
Fabulous to see the game get some love.
Whilst the controls and fight mechanics aren't fabulous, the look and style is glorious and the story drenched in emotion.
Wonderful game.
I was there last night and had the fragrant ring and regenerator ring on, so full magic and health.
When I got in there I saw the ghost of another player further on than me hiding slightly behind a wall to the left. As I ran in I saw a note on the floor that read 'safe'.
Spammed him with soul arrows and he went down quicker than a cheap date on prom night. Or something.
Stroke of luck perhaps with seeing that ghost and the glory of the message on the floor, but that's what m...
are made of living win. ^-^
I beat him last night - Absolute piece of cake.
Tower Knight was far tougher and more epic than that.
That's what I was intimating with Nintendo stepping up to the plate to a greater degree and it will be fun to see where it pushes them.
I've personally enjoyed the heck out of it on things like Mario Kart, No More Heroes, Zelda, but there's so much more that could be done.
With a bit of luck, the winner will be the most innovative ^-^
And whilst not even vaguely inovative, but purely from the gaming core of me - Resistance 3 with motion controls does get me mor...
I adored Lost Odyssey and i'm curious as heck as to what The Last Story is going to do.
Alright Spoony, nice to see you chap! ^-^
Looks like a good game. If it looks like your kind of thing, play it.
.. when Nintendo has done it previously?
If Sony push the boundaries of what can be done with motion control, factoring in the extra power, perhaps, but not quite. Extra power doesn't necessarily mean better and Nintendo are masters at *gaming*.
It's an aspect that Nintendo have tended to forget about though - and hopefully it should inspire a little more competition and perhaps something more coming from Miyamoto & friends.
And then we see as/when/i...
A decent story and a less generic soundtrack.
Whilst KZ2 I thought was technically terrific, I didn't have half as much fun on it as I did with the first Resistance game.
My earliest gaming happiness and the greatest sound chip and composers ever.
^____^
.. And that European ltd edition pack is beautiful.
I got the American release, but will be supporting this and buying it again when it hits Blighty in June.
Exceptional game.
