If there are so many women in this world, then why are these men so alone?

Maybe it will come to phones too.

I paid $25 for Cyberpunk 2077 when it finally released for PS5. So I’ll wait until the DLC is in the $10-15 range, assuming it will be any good.

At $3500, the Vision Pro is in the realm of production devices and toys for the rich. But if publishers can cheap port VR games to this, they will.

This could be a premium VR headset for gaming. But only if you can connect it to a more powerful graphics processor. Will this have ann option after it is released? Like AirPlay for VR? I hope so.

Microsoft isn’t going to “beat” Sony by showing game trailers. If Microsoft wants to flip the script, then they will need to start make consumer friendly changes like removing the ads on the Xbox home screen, stop charging for access to the Internet, and releasing $400 Xbox Series X without the disc drive. If it’s a choice between this box that plays games and that box that plays games, Microsoft will lose again.

“hardcore crowd playing Destiny, Ovewatch, Dota etc.”

Destiny sure. Destiny is set up to be played everyday (or quit forever). But not Overwatch. Until Blizzard started selling new characters, you could jump in at any time and have the same abilities as anyone else. Even now, I doubt most people finish battle passes. Overwatch is super casual for the vast majority of players. Don’t know bout Dota. That’s a PC thing.

They are just doing what Microsoft PR told them to do.

We have already seen games that run like 🐕 💩 on the Series S. In the long run, the Series S hurts Series S purchasers more than it hurts Sony.

Jesus! This console war is turning into a bloodbath. Dear Microsoft, maybe drop some ads from the Xbox home screen. Maybe lower the price. Do something, anything to make the Xbox more desirable.

Monopoly is based on market power, not the number of companies in the market. You can preset see that market power in the Xbox ecosystem. 18000 developers and 1500 publishers, but how many of them have access to Xbox owners?

This is how GameStop developed such a lucrative used game business. But let’s be real. Almost every store had some kind of deal even on launch day. Even in the 2000s, I was picking up Halo 2 and Halo 3 at launch for $40. MSRP was for suckers.

Phil Spencer already told you that none of these games are going to increase Xbox’s marketshare. A bunch of trailers definitely won’t. And let’s be real. If you are watching these showcases, you are already entrenched in the ecosystem.

GWG has become a great advertisement for the competition. It would be like Pepsi advertising a soda with rat poison.

My house has two PS5 digital consoles, so Imma’s say Alan Wake 2 has that right. Yeah, yeah, I know it sucks to have slow internet. I once used my phone as a mobile hotspot for my Xbox 360. But if you want to convince publishers to release games on disc, you have to buy them.

You jumped the gun a bit here. The Activision deal is still pending before the US FTC. Until (and if) this deal happens, you can correctly state that this is an asshole company first party studio.

There are so many smooth transitions in this game, I expect a PC rig with a slow hard drive and not enough RAM will suffer through a lot of loading screens.

The headline says “in less than 2 years”, as if $80M per year in micro-transactions were somehow good for Bungie. This is a company that employs over 800 people. $80M doesn’t even cover employee expenses like salaries, health care, and 401k contributions. This doesn’t pay Sony back for the $3.6B Sony spent to buy Bungie. This underscores how many people have quit Destiny 2 since it launched and the value of retail game sales.

I’ve been disappointed by Microsoft’s confidence before and I will be again. I’ll wait for reviews from the early adopters.
